Taniya's POV

I whimpered and opened my eyes when I felt someone touch my bruised shoulder. It was a female doctor wrapping a bandage on my shoulder.

"Are you okay Mallika ?" She asked concerned.

I nodded.

"Ziva are my pups safe ?" I asked panicked.

'Don't worry, they are safe. Just a bit weak but will recover soon if you take rest' Ziva said.

"Thank you." I replied.

"Also congratulations for going to be a mother soon Mallika." The doctor said.

"Thank you. But I want you to keep this a secret. I want to be the one to inform everyone." I said.

"Sure Mallika. Also, your whole family is waiting outside." She said.

"Let them in please." I requested.

"Of course" she said walking away.

"Where are Asher and Aarav ?" I asked Maddison who was seated on a couch with Scarlett.

"They are in the other room. I wanted you to introduce them to everyone. I am scared." She said.

"Don't be. Everything will be fine." I assured.

Soon the doors opened and everyone walked in along with my parents and Sandeep's parents. Ara and Isa were here too along with Carlos.

But none of them came up to me. Everyone was standing near the door and looking at the floor.

Do they hate me now?

"What's wrong ?" I whispered.

My mom walked up to me with tears in her eyes with my dad following behind.

"I'm sorry Taniya,  you had to go through all these because of me." She said.

"Mom no, it's not because of you. This was in my fate and everything is fine now. We are all alive and Banshee is dead.

"But you look so pale and hurt." She said.

"I'm fine really." I replied.

To be honest my shoulder was burning. And my body was too weak. It was a pain to open my mouth and speak too.

She nodded and hugged me with my dad before going back and standing near the door.

No one else approached me.

I pouted and looked at Sandeep who was staring at me with a blank face.

"Come here." I whispered.

He walked over to me and stood beside the bed.

"Why don't you speak to me ?" I asked.

"Why ?" He asked.

"Huh ?"

"Why did you do all these ? Banshee would have killed you easily today. Do you have any idea how it felt to look at you walking towards him in a white gown? Do you have any idea how it felt when he kissed you? Do you have any idea how it felt when he kept attacking you with black smoke balls? And I was standing there helplessly without knowing how to save you. It feels pathetic Tan, pathetic." He said looking away from me.

"I'm sorry, but I had a reason behind everything." I said.

"What was it ?" Arjun asked walking towards me.

"And Banshee said that I was the reason you agreed to stay there. Is it true?" Dante asked.

I nodded my head and looked at Maddison. She quickly understood what I was saying and exited the room.
