Sandeep's POV

"See you soon" Taniya said hugging Mahi.

"Yes" Mahi replied with tears.

Taniya then walked up to me and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"Don't miss me." She whispered.

"Is it possible?" I asked wrapping my arms around her waist.

"Try it" she replied in a broken voice.

"Okay" I replied pulling away from her.

She waved at everyone before settling down in her car along with Piya. Her siblings were also going back along with her dad who will be going to his home.

"Bye" Piya said before the car took off.

I sighed and turned towards my friends but my eyes widened looking at the scene.

Arjun's eyes were red and filled with tears threatening to fall.

"Are you okay ?" I asked concerned.

He turned towards me and nodded his head before turning around and running into the woods. I saw him shifting into his wolf before he disappeared between the trees.

"Lets go inside" Dimpi suggested and we all agreed.

We watched some movies until evening. Arjun came back during dinner looking sick. He walked up to his room and didn't have food.

"I will go speak to him." I said after I finished eating.

I knocked on his door and entered when he said a small 'come in'.

"What's wrong ?" I asked sitting on the bed beside him.

"Nothing" he replied looking away.

"Arjun, speak to me." I said patting his back.

"What do you want me to say ?!? " He yelled looking at me.

"Don't need to raise your voice, I was just concerned alright." I tried to reason with him.

"I don't have anything to say, just go away Sandeep." He said turning around.

"Its Taniya, isn't it ?" I asked pointing a finger at him.

"Wh-what no , no it isn-isn't." He said stuttering.

"You are clearly lying Arjun." I said glaring at him.

Does is still like her ?

"Yes , it is Taniya alright." He replied.

"Do you still like her ?" I asked angrily.

"Yes I do like her, indeed I love her. But its nothing romantic like the way you do. I care for her that's it. She is my best friend, like a sister, a guardian." He answered truthfully.

"Then what is troubling you ? Why have you been acting like a dick the whole day ?" I asked.

"I am jealous." He said looking down ashamed.

"WHAT ?" I asked raising my voice.

"I am jealous that you have Tan, someone who loves you, cares for you and will protect you. Whenever I look at you both, I feel the need to find my mate. My wolf feels lonely. It sucks to be alone when your friends have a person who loves them." He explained.

I was shocked to hear this. Arjun was always the chill guy who would hang around with random girls. He was never the commitment type.

As if reading my mind, he said, "I was never like this, I never planned on settling down with a single woman. But when I saw Taniya with you, everything changed. The love and intimacy you both shared, the understanding and chemistry - it was so magical. And then Kai entered Dimpi's life. I saw the same chemistry and love between them too. I craved for that love, I wanted someone to share that bond with me too."
