Max's parents got here first, then did Bella's parents.

"It's so nice to finally meet you, Alice, your daughter is such a nice person. The same to you about your son, Janet." Mama gushed about how good friends they are to me, how nice they are to her and my father, the regular things moms talk about, need I go on?
I decided I'd check on the Phoenix, Sandy, Ducky, and Lemon. Weird name, I know, but he's adorable. Bella chose Lemon, and Max, Sandy, and Connor, Ducky.
I figured Bella or Max was following me to the stables since I heard footsteps, but when I looked behind me it was no one I know, no human at all actually. It was  a wolf. Not just any wolf. THE wolf. THE wolf that attacked Philip. THE wolf that made my life go downhill. THE wolf that took the last thing my grandma gave to me before she died. I glared at it as if I were challenging it.
I guess it thought I was since it charged at me but I moved out of the way quick enough.
"You bastard. You killed my best friend." I yelled at the wolf, then grabbed a stick off the ground. I swung at the same spot I hit before, or at least I hoped so. There were no marks to show where I hit him.
All of a sudden I heard a random shout. I looked around but saw nothing. I turned back around only to get tackled by a person I did not recognize.

"Who are you?" I questioned them.

"I'm the one who killed your 'best friend.'" I looked at him utterly confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Oh? You don't know? Well, let's put it this way. Hmmmm.. I'm not human. I-"
I realized what he meant. And whispered something I never thought I'd say.

"A werewolf..." I looked at the man with wide eyes and he smirked.

"Correct. How'd you figure it out?"

"Why did you- Why did you take Philip away? And why are you here? Stay away!" I pushed him off and ran into the house. I looked back to see him smirking and smacked into someone after entering the house.

"Woah, you okay there, Luc?" I panted from running as I looked up at Max.

"Wolf. T-there's a w-werewolf. Outside." I pointed at him outside still panting.

"That's not a werewolf, it's just a crazy man. Hey, you sure you're okay?" He pointed at my clothes. I sighed and knew he wouldn't believe me so I just walked past him and went into my bedroom.

An hour later I got out of the shower and was called downstairs for dinner.

"Hey guys." I said, smiling.

"Hey, Luc." I saw dad smiling at me while I walked to the table and sat down.

"I'm starving. What about you, Arthur?" I saw Alice ask, I'm guessing Bella's dad.

"Very, shall we eat?" I saw Bella facepalm when her dad said that.

"We shall." I said. We all grabbed some food and ate while chatting about stuff.

"So where'd you live before you moved here, Lucy?" Janet, Max's mom, asked me.

"Well, I actually lived in Tennessee, then I moved here to Pennsylvania."

"Really?" She looked at her husband, Leo. "We could never survive in a car for that long."

"We barely made it, but we're here now." I said jokingly. "Other than here and Tennessee I've never been anywhere in this country."

"You poor thing, we should all go on a trip sometime." Alice said.

"That sounds like a great idea." Mama added.

Everyone chatted and then it was time to go on the horse ride.

"My mama, pa, and I will go get the four horses from our neighbor, you guys can go ahead and head to the stables." I said. I pretty much run the horse rides when people visit, it's no different now.

"We'll see you guys later." Max said. I smiled and waved.
When we got back about thirty minutes later we found the others chatting and saddling up their horses. I got down from Buttercup and helped Alice get on.

"All good?" I asked. She gave me a thumbs up, and I led her to the ring to practice controlling the horse, with the help of mama, while I helped Arthur get on Honey. Once he got saddled up I did the same thing, led him to the ring. Next was Janet, I helped her onto Eagle. Then Leo onto Sagittarius. After I led him to the ring I walked over to mom.

"I'm going to go saddle Phoenix, mama."
"Alright, be careful, Luc." I nodded and walked towards Phoenix.

I spoke to him, letting him know I was there, then pat his shoulder. I then checked him making sure he was good to go for the ride.

"Alright bud, let's get you saddled up."

I grabbed a saddle and some reigns and put them on him.

"I didn't realize how big you were until I had to put the saddle on, Phoenix, wowee." I tied the latigo knot then got onto his saddle.

"Alright bud, let's go."

I walked him over to the ring.

"We good to go mama?"

"Yep, getting them out of the ring now."

"Great, we should get going, see you later mama."

We waved goodbye and started our way into the woods.
