Chapter 5

  "Lucy. Listen, we have something to tell you." Dad looked at me with a stern voice.
  "Honey, Connor is your older brother." Mom looked at me with a serious face.
  "I- What? Why didn't you tell me?" I asked them and I could see mom had hurt in her eyes. They pulled me into a hug as I let a tear slip down. What a bombshell to drop..
  I pushed them away and ran to the house as tears started to fall. I got to my room and locked my bedroom door. I sat on my bed and hugged my knees, crying my eyes out. How could they keep something like this from me. I'm 15. For 15 YEARS, they kept this from me. I went to sleep and didn't wake up until the next morning.
  In the morning, Connor woke me up and told me to get ready for school. I got ready then went downstairs, not talking to anyone.
  We drove to school after eating breakfast and I walked to math class fast, trying not to let Connor catch up.
  After class
  The bell rang and I said bye to Ms. Finnish. I walked to science class and worked on math homework.
"Whats up Luc?" She asked smiling, frowning when she saw that I was upset.
"You know Connor?"
  "The school bully? Of course! Everybody knows him. Unless they're new here at least."
  "He's my older brother."
  "He's your huh-what now??"
  I continued to frown as I slowly nodded my head. She looked at me, a shocked expression on her face. We talked about how I was told that Connor is my brother until the bell rang. How I'm glad to have a big brother but upset that my parents never told me. And the fact that he's the school bully. When the bell rang, we said our goodbyes and walked to our next classes.
  I got to class and sat in my seat
  "Hey Lucy."
  I slightly smiled at Max as he came over and sat by me.
  "Hey Max."
  "So, what was the thing the person needed to talk about?"
  "That Connor is my brother. It's weird, but eventually I guess I'll get used to it."
  We talked about how I was told about Connor being my brother as I had a with Bella.
  When the bell rang, I walked to lunch with Max and we sat with both Bella and her friend.
   We ate lunch and I continued talking about how the school bully is my older brother.
"Wow, that does not sound like fun." Holly, Bella's friend said.
"Yeah, especially the part where they kept it from me. I can't believe they would hide something like this."
Bella nodded her head slowly and added, "I couldn't imagine that bombshell after losing a close pet." We all agreed and the bell rang.
"See you guys later." They said bye then we parted away to our classes.
  At Music Class
  When I entered the music room I told Mr. Willis that I would sign up on the day we could. We did karaoke and had fun until the bell rang. Before we left, me, Bella, and Mark talked before we went to pack up. We were going to go to my house and Mark and Bella were going to stay over from today until Monday.
