Chapter 13

TZ's POV

Imagine my surprise when not only my sister but also my sister-in-law pranced through my front door. I was just getting into an episode of Jeopardy when out of nowhere Yeonwoo's short little body flew past which isn't abnormal, but what surprised me was the person bringing up the rear.

"What's up you fucker? I'm here to meet your girlfriend." Selena winked and headed right up the stairs.

I decided to keep my cool. I knew Yeonwoo would spill the beans eventually so I'm not that surprised she told Selena first. Those two are thick as thieves, have been since Jun brought Selena home for Thanksgiving the first year they were dating. Yeonwoo fell in love and they have been inseparable ever since. Selena and I get along as much as a guy can get along with his sister-in-law. I don't always agree with her attitude but if you look past that she's just a chick that's head over heels for my brother.

Can't hate her for that.

However, that doesn't change the fact that I'm getting a little antsy down here. I don't want Selena to make Sana upset. Yeonwoo does enough of that on her own but with Selena, I'm afraid she'll say the wrong thing and all hell will break loose. Sana being pregnant may put her in a delicate position, but I think if she's pushed to her limit someone will get hurt, and it won't be her.

I hear voices escalating from upstairs and in a second I'm on my feet and rushing to the second floor. I get there in time to hear Sana mention my name, and then all three girls turn and stare in my direction. Sana was angry, beyond angry by the red covering her entire face. I've seen her mad before but not to this degree. Selena and Yeonwoo must have really struck a chord in her.

"Is everything alright in here?" I step into the room being cautious of Sana's behavior first and foremost.

"No everything is not alright!" Sana snapped.

"We were just talking, Tzuu." Yeonwoo said but didn't look too convinced herself. They were doing way more than just talking.

And if to make the tension that much worse Selena just had to ask, "Have you ever been abused, Sana?"

I think it took all of us off guard, even Selena as she looked regretful the moment it slipped from her lips.

Oh shit...

"Excuse me?" Sana immediately became defensive, every muscle in her body was tense.

Selena threw up her hands to show that she meant no harm. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked that."

Anger seeped off Sana in waves. She looked so horrified and at the same time ready to explode. I don't think it would be wise for me to step in and try to diffuse the situation when she's like this. She quickly threw back the covers and stalked into the bathroom where she shut and locked the door. It took me a second to get over the fact that she only had on a pair of lacy panties and a t-shirt.

"Tzuyu?" Yeonwoo looked at me like I was supposed to fix this. What the hell does she think I can do? Sana locked the door, I can't very well break it down and make her come out.

Selena looked really sorry and Yeonwoo just looked sad.

We waited about fifteen minutes before we heard her unlock the door. She stepped out with her head down and eyes cast to the floor. I can tell she's been crying all the way from where I'm standing. She climbed back into bed and pulled the blanket all the way over her head to block us out.

Selena cleared her throat ready to speak. I shake my head to tell her not to but with her eyes she assured me she wasn't going to say anything bad.
