So, this epilogue is going to be a bit different from the other beginnings and ends of my other Miitopia tales... it's not from the guardian's point of view because he's gone.
Enjoy!
All was as it should be.
As the years passed, Janice and her entourage had restored the world to its former glory. All the people who had been lost in Eternal's assault were brought back, and reunions were abundant. The New Elite were appointed as the protectors of each region. Horace and Antonia's royal wedding was a spectacular event with guests from all over the island. Akira also confessed his feelings to Janice, which she returned, and they soon married and had two children: one daughter, who took on the warrior's swordplay abilities, and one son, who was more skilled in magic.
One day, Janice took her children to the Dark Lord's castle, which had been remodeled into a museum of sorts celebrating her accomplishments. "I've wanted to bring you here from the moment you were born," she told them. "This is where my friends and I saved the world from the Dark Lord."
The hero's appearance had changed drastically to fit her new role, as well as her age. Her black hair now had a few lines of gray, and no longer sat in a ponytail. Instead, she kept it pinned out of her face with a comb. Her armor had been swapped out for a purple cape with a single jewel on her chest, and under the cape was a sleeveless dress.
"It's a little bit creepy..." her son said as he looked around nervously.
"Don't worry. Nothing in here is going to hurt you anymore."
"So you've been in here before?" her daughter asked. "Was it scary when you fought the Dark Lord?"
"A little... but my friends and I pulled through in the end."
"And good thing, too," Akira said as he entered the room. He now donned the attire of a mage, with flowy robes and a scarf. "If she hadn't, you probably wouldn't be here to hear the tale."
"Either way, the world is safe now. We've made sure of it."
And with those words of assurance, Janice and Akira gave their children a tour, telling them all of the stories of their adventures.
Come what may, if the world somehow got itself into trouble again, the mage and warrior had faith that their beautiful offspring would rise to defend it, just as they did.
Okay, guys, I'm happy to say that my Miitopia AU series is now over! There will not be another installment in the trilogy. I hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
That being said, I have another story that's coming up, and I think you Zelda fans are really going to like it!
Peace out!
