“I’m confused Nikhil and you’re not helping me either.”

“What! I’m not helping you! I already told you wear the blue dress, didn’t I? but no why would you listen to me? and instead of thanking me you’re complaining that I’m not helping you.”

“I never went to a formal party Nikhil and I don’t know if it would be an appropriate to wear it or not.”

“Trust me on this Vani. Now go wear it. I’m waiting.” How can she doubt on herself? Damn! She is going to be looking sexy showing her perfect curve on that blue bodycon dress. I’m not that interest to go to the party but my colleagues! If I won’t go, they surely not going to talk with me at office. They literally threatened me to take Vani to the party. It’s not like I don’t want to take her along knowing Aleia would be there. But when Vani knew that she is more determined to go there. She is curious more than jealous. She just wants to see the girl with whom I was in relationship. Nothing more, I guess. Or do I need to worry about it?

Nah! I’m thinking too much. Vani just wants to see Aleia.

“Am I looking good?” Vani came wearing the dress. She twirled around to show me her dress. Damn! She is looking perfect. I went near her and hold her waist pull towards me.

“Are you sure you want to go to the party?” she looking confused “Yeah! that’s why we both are getting ready, right?”

“Right. But after seeing you I changed my mind.” Whispered touching her newly curled hair. I like her natural straight hair but she curled it for today. Trust me it made her looks different or I can say, for me she is looking hot.

“Mr. Malhotra why don’t you go and wear your tie meanwhile I wear my heels or we’re going to be late. And you know how punctual I’m. I hate being late.”

“If you want to reach on time then don’t provoke me by calling Mr. Malhotra, wifey.”

“Or what Mr. Malhotra?” playing with fire I see. I smirk.

“Aahaa…you really want to know, when you already know that I won’t stop if I start. And I believe we won’t able to go after that Mrs Malhotra.”

“L..let me grab my purse.” Stammered means I made her nervous. She got what I said. I chuckled lowly but she heard it. One pair of eyes glaring at me.

“Nikhil…hurry up.”

Everyone is happy to meet Vani. Faiza, Hanah, Kally, Habib, Rafi, Samir and Wazir, they are totally smitten by her. My male colleagues are jealous of me now. They are like ‘how did you find her and marry her in that short span of time? You are really lucky, Nick.’ I agree with them, I’m the luckiest person because Vani is my wife. She is my everything.

I look at Vani, who is talking with my Faiza, Hanah and Kally. She is carefully listening what they are talking that she failed to notice my gaze from last two minutes. She totally forgot about me, I guess.

“Hey, Nick!” out of nowhere Aleia came and greeted me. Noticing her presence Habib and Wazir left me with her. I don’t want to talk with her but I’m here because of my professional life so I can’t ignore her. and her presence doesn’t affect me.

“Hi, Aleia how are you?”

“I’m fine. I hope you’re fine also.”

“Never been better than I’m now.”
