“Don't panic, easy Vani easy. They'll surely like your foods. Even they don't like it's their loss. I’ll eat everything.” I glared at him.

“I'm just joking. You have magic on your hands.” He kissed my hands.

“You sure they wanted to have Indian foods?” I have prepared Chicken Biryani, nun to have with chicken butter masala, chicken curry, salad and for dessert gajar(carrot) halwa and curds with rosgulla. Simple Indian dishes. Nobody is vegetarian so I didn't prepare any veg dishes.

“They themselves requested me to prepare only Indian foods.” Nikhil assured me.

“Okay then.” I calmed myself enough to welcome our guests. It would be great to have guests in our home. Yeah! for the first time. I was getting bored alone. Leave his male friends, I like his female colleagues Hannah, Kally and Faiza. They are very friendly. Finally, I will have someone to talk. I mean girly talks. Phew…

Everyone came except Wazir bhai (bro) because his wife is seven months pregnant. Though bhabi (sis-in-law) told him to come here, he didn’t want to leave her alone in home. So, he didn’t come. How sweet of him, right? Habib, Rafi, Samir bhai came along with the girls. And they loved the foods. Yes! They even complemented me. I’m happy that they loved it.

“Hey, why don’t we the girls plan an outing for ourselves? We would go to shopping then would have food outside. What say?” Faiza told us.

“Perfect!” Kally exclaimed with joy.

“What about us?” Rafi bhai asked.

“O yaa, we haven’t thought about you. Why don’t you guys come to hold our shopping bags?” Hannah said raising her eyebrows supressing her laugh. But we couldn’t hold ours we Kally, Faiza and I laugh loudly in front of them.

“Laugh as much you want. But at the end of the day you would be jealous of us because we boys would go for an adventure trip for a day. What says boys?” Nikhil asked them.

“It would be so much fun. Whoa!” boys!

“We will see who would have much fun. Right girls?” Kally asked rolling her eyes with an attitude.

“Yes!”

After teasing, taunting each other they left for home.

“Are you really going to adventure trip without me?” Vani asked me while cleaning the kitchen. She is done and washed her hands. I gave her a towel.

“Yeah, you girls were the one who decided your day out excluding us.” She glared at me.

“That was because we’re planning to go on shopping and you guys would be bored with us.” that’s fact. Who would enjoy four to five hours of shopping? Tell me.

“Yes, wifey that’s the reason we’re going on an adventure trip. Fair enough.”

“NO! Now don’t talk to me.” What! They were the one who planned to go out and here she is angry because I’m going to enjoy the day with boys.

“Okay, but sleep now it’s already late. Thank God it’s weekend or I won’t be able to rise early.”

“You go to bed. I have to do some correction on my paper. Table light will be on, is it okay with you?”
