I bathed Ryan and got him dressed. Now it’s my turn to take bath, for that I need someone to look after him. I don’t have crib here or I would place him there to play with himself. AJ went home because of some business problem. We’ve transport business and trust me one has to be there… problems or no problems.

Vani went to university. She has lots of study pressure already we don’t want her to feel like she has to do household work just because she is married. She helps to prepare foods despite our refusal. Today also, she made breakfast and made sure that everyone ate. After that she went to uni.

I went towards mom and dad’s room to give Ryan. I already feed him, after some minutes he is going to sleep. So, no worries.

“Mom…da…”

“…yesterday, I hinted about baby, her expression was shocked one. I don’t think she is ready to have baby now. I told her we’re not going to pressurise if she isn’t ready. I’m relieved that Nikhil married Vani not that girl.” I stopped my movement and waited near the door.

“But if you want Nikhil to come here and never going back to Dubai then only a baby can do that. You’ve to told her to think about baby.” Dad told mom. What are they thinking of themselves? Are they on their right mind?

“WoW…great plan! Do you really think this…whatever shit you both were talking would help you to decrease the distance between you and your one and only son which you had created years ago, huh? Then let me tell you NO! You’re going to do the same mistake again. It’ll push him even more and remember my words this time you won’t have the chance from him which he had given last time. And about having baby, it’s up to Vani she is the one who will carry the baby in the womb for nine months. So, let her decide when she wants the baby. Don’t blackmail her too or you would lose her like you lost your son. I don’t know when you both are going to stop this emotional blackmail and forcing your decisions on others. I thought you learned the lesson but I was wrong.”

“You’re over reacting Naina, we were just talking.” mom said this.

“I’m over reacting! Ok. I’ll tell this to Nikhil he’ll decide who is over reacting. And I’m going home I’m not going to stay here a minute. By staying away from both of you, Nikhil is doing absolutely correct. At least it is keeping his mind sane.” I left their room and pick Ryan from floor. He is yawning. My baby is feeling sleepy. When I look at his face, I forget everything. Nothing matters when he is with me. I placed him on bed and patted on his back. In the next minute he fell asleep. It would be easy for me to take shower and pack our things to go home.

Yes! I wasn’t joking when I said I’m going home. AJ left a car for me to use but he told me he would come or send driver to pick me up. But it’s too soon to call him to send a driver and moreover he would ask me the reason, why I didn’t stay longer. And I don’t want to tell him before I tell Nikhil and Vani about it because it’s their matter.

The presentation ended. The design team did an excellent work now I’m sure that our design will be selected.

“Wazir, Mark and Habib would have to go to attend the business meeting to Istanbul from our company. And Nick you have to control everything here. If anything goes wrong it would directly affect the collaboration and our company reputation.” CEO told us.

“For how many days, May I know Sir?” Wazir asked.

“One week.” Wazir is looking at me with a pleading eye. He doesn’t want to leave his pregnant wife and that for one week. Sis is lucky to have him as her husband who is very caring, loving and responsible.
