Peter's POV
As the doctors slammed the door in my face, I began to ponder on what else I could've done to save Ned's life, after all they were after me and nobody else and I stupidly let my friends get in the way! 'This is all your fault Parker, uncle Ben taught you better than this. He taught you the meaning of "With great power, comes great responsibility" and you did nothing, nothing to save Ned.' Said the mysterious voice in what I think was in my head
'Who was that?' I thought until "He's awake and he wants to speak with you, you are Peter Parker right?" A brunette haired doctor named 'Dr S Smith' politely asked me. "Yes ma'am, is he going to be okay?" I rushed over to her like nothing else matters. "He will be, I can't discuss anything with you as it's patient confidentiality but however he said his request rather urgently so I'll take you to him now." She smiled and lead me to him

Me: He's going to be fine, they won't tell me anything so I think there's something else going on, I'll get back to you soon, love you x
End of conversation.
"Peter! How's Betty?! Is she okay?! What about MJ?!" Ned asks me immediately as I walked through the door, "Both are okay man, Betty is just getting looked over by a psychiatrist as she was really messed up after what happened. Speaking of that you really scared us as you went into a cardiac arrest, have the doctors told you anything yet?" I cautiously asked him.
"I don't know yet, I don't think they even know actually but Peter please don't beat yourself up, there's nothing else you could've done." Ned glares at me as I got up to leave, "Promise me Peter, please. I know you're Spider-Man but you can't prevent anything like this from happening." Ned pleaded as I nodded while I opened the door, "I'll see you soon man, take care." I bluntly replied.
MJ's POV
It's been two hours since I last spoke to Peter and to be honest, it's killing me, I know I hate expressing how I feel but I know I really love him and I know that right now, he needs me more than ever.

Spider-Boy: I just left the hospital, he's okay but he doesn't know anything yet, the doctors are refusing him to be given any information at the moment so it sounds like they don't know anything yet. I'm gonna swing home and gets some rest since the city is quiet, love you x.
I sighed in relief knowing that Ned was okay, I just hoped Peter was.
Me: At least he's okay, instead of going home.. maybe you could stay here? I think we both need each other right now.. I mean if that's what you want obviously.. love you too x
Spider-Boy: On my way.
As I waited for Peter I decided to watch the tv when a slightly bold headed man was reading out the news, "Listen up Folks this is the Daily Bugle podcast bringing to you the latest hot piece New York will have for the rest of today! We've just received live footage of the avengers mansion exploding! We don't know currently if any survivors have been found currently but it is believed that the menace Spider-Man is nowhere to be found! Something makes me suspect that HE is responsible for this!"
