Michelle's POV

After everyone left the following morning we all came to the conclusion we should all pack now since we've made plans for the next two days since our trip begins another two days after, "Hey Pete!" I shouted from my room since we haven't combined wardrobes yet, "Yeah?!" He responded with alot of curiosity. "Since we're going to Venice, why don't we go out for dinner one night?" After I brought that up Peter went rather quiet, almost like he was hesitating or creating suspense for his answer. "Yeah that's a rather good idea! Do you want me to invite anyone or are we going alone like a date? Actually never mind stupid question!" Peter exclaimed in excitement almost exactly how I did when I met the Avengers. "I'm packed now, how are you doing here?" I casually changed the subject. "I'm done too and I was thinking-"

Police Scanner: Code 10-89, I repeat there's a bomb threat at Times Square. Shots have been fired, Officer down!

Peter's POV

After the police scanner had explained the code I immediately flung on my suit in a matter of seconds, due to the severity and demand of the crime, to which I don't think even Michelle actually noticed I had left. As I was swinging my senses went off like a spiral staircase due to a unidentified object flew right at me, in a split second I dodged the unknown webbing it to the ground. "Karen, what the hell was that?" I asked in a hurry, "It was one of the billboards outside of Times Square." She explained to me almost instantly. "Okay, give me a sit rep on the perimeter. I have a feeling they'll set a bomb off if they see me." I concluded tactically while Karen scanned the area efficiently. "I have found four hostiles on the ground, two snipers from the south and south east and two more in the north and north west of the perimeter. Please note there's two bombs on the ground so you'll need to be quick." "Okay, you've got this Pete. It's just like riding a bi-'.

"I'll take the two on the south and you take the North, got it kid?" The voice commanded me. "I'm sorry but whose this?" I asked as a familiar shield flung past me. "Oh hi Cap, how are you gonna get to the south of the square?" I asked knowing he couldn't fly, "Relax, I have a plan. There's a passage to the roof directly next to us, I just need you to hold the lookout while I pass through." He explains as I nod, during the lookout I find the two snipers and I immediately swing towards them since Steve told me that he took his side out, I slid through one of the guys leg and then did a spin kick, that Natasha taught me, to his face. "This is Grimstone, do you copy sniper 2." 'Shit, I'll have to try and pull an accent off.' "Copy Sir, no sign of any hostiles." I imitated, "Good, report as soon as you see Spider-Man or any costumed freak, Grimstone out." The pager goes out and I quickly take down the other sniper with ease. "Cap I'm ready, reckon we can take them?" I asked concerned. "Yeah, just remember what we practiced. On my signal okay?" Steve informed me. "Underoos!" He signaled and in the moment we both took down the hostiles with ease before they could pull any triggers, "Guessing he's Grimstone with the fancy gear?" I sarcastically pointed out. "Sure looks like it."

We quickly disarm the bombs and informed the authorities that Grimstone and his team were out for the count, Steve and I went our separate ways into the night and said we'll see each other when we make contact at Paris.

Once I arrive at my apartment and entered the living room, I saw the news highlighting mine and Cap's victory over the vile and disgraceful terrorists but once I scanned the room I noticed not one but two pairs of eyes daggering at me with worry. "Erm.... Hi guys?" I greeted myself with a little worry. "Hi?! All you can say is hi?! We've been worrying for the last two hours since we heard nothing from you nor was the news reporting your situation until literally this moment!" Michelle yelled at me out of worry and concern while aunt May looked at me with a disappointed expression." Okay okay.... I'm sorry it won't happen again okay?" I calmy expressed my apology and then in an instant Michelle just hugged me very tightly,"I thought I lost you." She sadly muttered, "You won't. I promise I'll never leave you and that you'll never lose me okay?" I assured her while kissing her cheek as she nods while moving in for a kiss.

After both May and Michelle calmed down, Ned had decided to come over and talk to me privately for a unknown reason. "Hey man what's up?" I dumbfoundedly asked, "I may like someone.... On the decathlon." "Hold the fort. Who?!" I cut him off quite quickly, "Betty...." He shyly admitted, "You guys would be good together man! Go for it. Do what makes you happy and you'll have my support." I assured him. "But how do I tell her?" He asked for my advice. "Honestly, wait until the right moment and see what happens. Don't ask me when it'll be because only you'll know." I advised him with pure honesty, "Okay thank you man. I best get going, need to pack for next week." I nodded as he made his way out and said our goodbyes, "What was that about?" Michelle intriguingly pressures me while my lungs stiffen due to my lack of will against her. "Ned's maybe in love with Betty." I admitted as Michelle's eyes widen in shock like a truck had just hit her unexpectedly. "No way! Tell me everything!" She giddily demanded, "Okay I'll tell you once we go to bed, it's late so go get changed." I ultimately decided as we both took our time to get ready for bed, gossiping about social lives for the next hour till we fell asleep in our arms.
