'Michelle POV'
Not going to lie, I didn't think me and Peter being together would ever be a reality. Not cause he's Spider-Man, but because it's me. Like there's so many reasons as to why but the main one, is my recently diagnosed condition of epilepsy. Last night after we talked, I had my first major seizure. Peter coped with it well since he knows the science behind the THC oil which treats and calms the symptoms down for a certain time period but however, it doesn't change the fact that I'll always be a liability. The fact he'll always have to worry about me being hurt when he could be saving countless amounts of lives, I feel so worthless.
I shed a tear and Peter gives me a concerned look,"Hey, what's wrong?" And while he's concerned, I had to be straight forward, "I'm scared, I'm scared to accept the fact that I'm a liability to you now. The fact that I'm weak and the fact that no matter what I do, I'll always be some girl who suffers from this horrible condition." Tears stream down my face but go at a slow pace due to Peter caressing my cheeks,"Okay I have four things to say, one) You're not weak. Two) you're not worthless, I know your worth and it's everything that anyone in New York or anyone in the entire world is. Exactly the same. Three) You're everything I could ask for. You're amazing and beautiful. You have the most astounding and perfect personality that no one could ever match. You, Michelle, are not a liability. You are not just my girlfriend but also my equal." He assures me with the firmest yet kind trademark Parker tone.
"Now I think I have fallen for you more." I blush shyly, "Oh and by the way, school want us and the decathlon to go on vacation, they're giving us it cause of everything that's happened over the last year." I inform Peter as he gives me a confused look. "Where are we going? You're telling me I have to put up with Flash's bullshit for however long it is?" He asks with the most sarcastic tone that can annoy you from the first to the last letter.
"Yes Peter, it does. I do need to ask you a question about us." I shyly say us at the end of my sentence cause you know, never had a boyfriend before *mental face palm*. "Okay... What is it?" Peter looked very concerned. "Actually I have two, are we actually official or are we just testing whatever this is? And are we going to hide it on the trip?..." He looked puzzled for a moment, like he had just been given the world's hardest case that even Sherlock Holmes couldn't solve.
" We could be official if it's what you want.... I've never done this before so yeah.. But I don't think I could on the trip." He paused, "Peter if this is cause of you being Spider-Man then that's a stupid answer. Why don't you just notify Cap so he can arrange a stand in for two weeks?" He definitely didn't think of that. 'Parker needs to step up his game' "Michelle You're a genius."
Peter's POV
"One, I'm your girlfriend so MJ or anything but Michelle please. Two, I know." She coyly smiled at me after the sarcastic tone sank in.
Me: Hey Cap, school want me to take a field trip for a few weeks. Do you mind if you can get someone to stand in for me?
Cap: Hi Peter. If you don't mind, we'll need to talk about this in person in order to get the appropriate outcome.
Me: Got it. On my way.
"So, I just messaged Cap and he just said we need to talk about it so..... Want meet the Avengers?..." I shyly ask, "Parker of course! It's the Avengers for christ sake!" She beamed with excitement and kissed me passionately while I kissed her back. "You are aware your boyfriend is an Avenger right?" I sarcastically grin. "Duh of course I know. When do we go?"
'No turning back Pete.' "How about in an hour? So we can freshen up and get the confidence high I mean." I suggest where as she replied with, "Sure I'll have a shower now, I'll try to be quick! Mind timing me so I know what time to beat next time?" She politely asks where as I have a new idea. "Yeah sure, how about we have a bet."
"Go on." She rolls her eyes, "How about if you beat 22 minutes in the shower, then you can choose where we go out for dinner tonight. Whereas if you lose, I choose. Deal?" I gambled, "You're on Parker."
