Chapter Thirteen

Peter's POV

After I got changed and met Michelle outside, we began to walk to the nearest bus stop holding hands, bearing in mind that this is our first outing as a couple. As the bus approached us, she squeezed my hand tightly to indicate that she was nervous so I whisper, "It's okay, I'm nervous too and we're in this together." She smiles as I pay for our fares. Luckily this bus goes straight to Avenger's tower but the unluckiest thing is, Flash is on our bus. "Penis Parkerrrrr." He shouted.

"Piss off Flash." I retort, "Awh getting protective in front of your anorexic of a bitchy girlfriend?" He insulted. "What the fuck did you just say?" I muttered to not show my anger. "I said Michelle is an anorexic piece of shit of a bitchy girlfriend." He retorts, "One, she is my girlfriend and two-" And at that moment, I launched at Flash giving him some punches that will hurt but won't be at my full strength. I busted his nose proudly. "Talk about her like that again and I'll make sure you'll never see her again." I threatened and for the first time, Flash knew I was seriously in control.

"You didn't have to do that." She kindly replies. "I did. No one and I mean no one, gets to talk to my girlfriend like that and insult her body type because of her genetics." I retaliate as she snuggles up to me to calm me down, "Do you think the Avengers will like me?" She changes the subject in MJ fashion, "Of course, mainly because you're exactly like Natasha and she kicks ass aha, but seriously. They'll love you. Just be yourself like you are with me." I reply as she smiles. The bus arrives at the Avenger's tower, we get off the bus and we take each others hands, luckily the tower is on our side of the road otherwise we'd have to go across two intersections and for blocks to get here.

"Friday it's Peter, could you let us up please the Avengers have a meeting in half hour?" I ask the AI as she replies with the door opening, we take the elevator due to the building being 70 floors which would definitely tire Michelle out.

Michelle's POV

'This place is amazing!" we enter the Avenger's meeting room and they immediately greet us," Greetings Peter, I see you've brought a friend. Care to introduce her to us? " Nat asks him," Okay guys so uh, I thought you guys should be the first people to know since you're like my family now so uh.... This is Michelle Jones, she's my best friend and most recently became my girlfriend. She knows my secret and that is why I brought her here. More than the less so she can meet who I'm going to be training with and who I'll be spending time with to bond." He represents me with a speech I think he did from the top of his head.

"Well pleasure to meet you Michelle, I'm Natasha, formally known as Black Widow. Cap, do you want to introduce everyone else?" She asks after her introduction, Cap steps forward.

"Uh yeah sure, pleasure to meet you Ma'am. My name is Steve Rogers and as you should know, I am Captain America. And here are the Avengers, first we have Wanda Maximinoff also known as the Scarlet Witch and I'm sure you two will definitely get along. Secondly we have Sam Wilson, you may know him as the Falcon after SHIELD collapsed. Then we have Bucky, he's my best friend and formally known as the Winter Soldier. He's now known as the White Wolf. Then we have Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne. These are the reason you won't be the only couple in the building since well you know, you may have heard of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Then that leaves your boyfriend who is obviously Spider-Man." Cap explains so I begin to think of a reply.

"Wow that's amazing, I'm honoured to meet you all. But if you don't mind me asking, you asked Peter to come here. Would you mind telling us why?" Steve gave thought to my question, "Well we taken the trip into consideration and we will let you go but on one condition. Natasha will be keeping an eye on your group while you travel everywhere and you fill us in on anything suspicious. Understood?" Cap concludes, "Understood sir." Peter replies like a soldier. "Then you're dismissed unless you want a tour Michelle?"

"Sounds good to me." I beamed with excitement! As two hours pass Cap had shown us all of the facilities which includes Peter's own lab shared with Bruce Banner when he's here, Scott's training course, Sam's combat centre and Steve's gym. "Now I have to ask you Michelle, how would you feel being a scientist for us? You seem to have alot of ideas and passionate about helping us forge new gear and other helpful items. This won't be easy though Michelle and this will have to be top secret." Steve and I look formally at each other and I shake his hand,"When do I start and where will my station be?" I formally ask, "It'll be after your trip and you'll be stationed with Peter and Bruce since they're our top scientists. Welcome aboard." Steve walks away as I take it in, Peter places a hand on my shoulder, "So we're school buddies, a couple who live together and science buddies? God we can't catch a break." He jokes and we chuckle.

"Hey since I won the bet, I think we should go to Mr Delmores to celebrate that I'm now apart of the team?" I suggest as he nods while we walk away from the building after saying goodbye to all of the Avengers.

Well that's a wrap for Thirteen guys, fourteen will be tomorrow, I decided to change the Avengers mission to the twentieth chapter since the structure of the book wouldn't make sense. I hope you enjoy this and understand my decision. Bye guys and stay safe!
