Despite not being a huge fan of Halloween, Angie must admit there is something charming and misterious about that day, it was obviously one of Richie's favourite celebrations of the year, that allowed him to put some plastic masks on, and to create new jokes ("Hey Angie, why wouldn't the skeleton cross any road? Because he didn't have any guts") After all those missing kids, the girl did not think that it would have been hard for Derry citizens to find a reason to get scared. This is what she's thinking, while she's getting ready for Greta's Halloween party, she puts some lip gloss on her lips, a sigh leaves her mouth, she already regrets her promise, she should have never accept in the first place, but now it's too late, besides, no one can stop Mary Sue's excitement. She had literally phoned her two hours ago and she was already planning three different choices for her outfit. She was so thrilled and adorable that Angie did not have the strength to let her down. On the contrary, she started to get ready, she took a shower, and she started to massage her hair with her favourite lavander shampoo, she wish it could penetrate deeply in her brain, to erase every hideous thought. There was just one thing that made her extremely happy and relieved, it was absolutely difficult, almost impossible, to catch up with Henry Bowers and his gang. In fact, not only the whole school feared them, but Greta specifically seemed to dislike the gang, in fact, Angie remembers she had a unpleasant experience with Patrick some years ago, when the boy had tried to touch her during English Literature. Therefore, whereas there was maybe a chance for Angie to join the party, it was absolutely impossible that Greta would allow Bowers and the others inside her house.

The thought made Angie feel better.

Her make-up enhances her soft features, and the dress she choosed is shorter than the usual skirts she wears, it's a new feeling, but she likes it. Maybe a black dress was the most obvious choice for a Halloween party, but, according to her mum, it was always a good outfit for every occasion.

"Do you want me to give you my werewolf mask?" Richie had asked her a few hours ago.

"Richie, before your friends arrive your room must be clean!" Her mom interrupted him, Richie had called some Losers club members for a Halloween sleepover, and she wanted to make sure his room did not look like the usual mess.

Angie rolls her eyes.

"Oh, wait you don't need it, you can just use your face" Richie says, with a stupid smile.

"Ahahah, very funny" Angie sighs.

The girl looks at herself in the mirror, she feels cute, maybe even pretty, that's a new feeling, that makes her feel good. She wants to go to Greta's party, after all.

She joins her family in the living room, Richie looks at her, disgusted "What's this smell?"

Angie ignores him, as her rose scent fills the living room.

"You are very pretty, dear" her mother smiles.

Angie smiles back, while the door bell rings.

"That's for meeee!" Richie jumps, thrilled, he runs to open the door.

It's Bill and Eddie, with a bag full of candies and their sleeping bags.

"Hi Richie, good evening Mr and Mrs Tozier, hi Ang..." Eddie notices Angie and he blushes.

"Y-y-you look good A-a-angie" Billy whispers, mesmerised.

Angie smiles "Oh, thank you Bill, you're very nice, you guys have fun"

She hears a horn outside, Mary Sue's dad has arrived.
