━───You stepped off the train, your grin wide and beaming, though hidden beneath the mask that stretched snug over your face. The brim of your cap cast a deep shadow, making it impossible for anyone to catch sight of your expression. Not that you minded; the smile wasn't for them anyway.
Shibuya buzzed with life around you. The rush of people, the vibrant signs, the endless chatter, it all fed into the electric excitement coursing through your veins. You took a deep breath, savoring the air of freedom. Finally, you were away from your brother's watchful eye and the endless list of rules that came with it. You were free. Free to do whatever you wanted.
"Now..." you mumbled under your breath, fishing your phone out from your pocket. With nimble fingers, you typed a quick message to your cousin.
(Y/N): Hey, I'm already at Shibuya.
You hit send and watched the screen for a moment, ensuring the text had been delivered. Satisfied, you slid the phone back into your pocket and began wandering around. The energy of the city pulled you in every direction, but for once, you weren't worried about getting lost. Not today.
A short while later, as you stood in line at a convenience store, contemplating which water bottle to buy (as if there was a real difference), your phone buzzed again. Fishing it out, you read the new message:
Keisuke : I'm on my way, stay there and don't talk to strangers.
Reading the message, you have a strong urge to roll your eyes. What does he think of you, a baby? A toddler who would accept a candy and go with a stranger?
"Yeah, yeah, whatever," you muttered, not bothering to reply. But just as you were about to shove the phone back into your pocket, something, or rather, someone, caught your eye.
Not far from where you stood, two people were deep in conversation. One leaned casually against a parked bike, arms crossed, while the other was propped against a lamppost, laughing. Even from a distance, their resemblance was uncanny, they had to be twins. Yet, despite their similar faces, their expressions couldn't have been more different.
Your gaze lingered on them, shamelessly observing. The one by the bike had soft peach-colored hair and a relaxed air about him, while his twin had striking blue hair and... well, he looked like he was about five seconds away from punching someone. His face was set in a perpetual scowl, brows furrowed, jaw tight.
