"Fuck off! I've been driving for half an hour already, and you're just asking!?"
"I'm just asking! What's wrong with trying to confirm my safety!?"
"You should've asked that before you even got on my bike!"
"Ha!?"
The roar of the engine swallowed the echoes of your bickering as you two sped down the winding road, the wind lashing against your faces like tiny, invisible needles. Chifuyu, trailing just behind, could only shake his head, a bemused grin pulling at his lips as he watched you and your cousin argue with a vigor that seemed utterly misplaced while hurtling through the open road. Your voices rose and fell like dueling birds, competing in volume to be heard over the gusts tearing through the air.
From Chifuyu's perspective, your cousin's knuckles were white against the handlebars, fingers locked tightly in a desperate yet overconfident grip. You, meanwhile, clutched at the back of the bike, posture tense but defiant, as if refusing to let fear disrupt the squabble you'd started. He couldn't tell if it was the wind or the pure thrill of the ride, but there was a wild glint in your eyes, equal parts terror and exhilaration.
"Probably the wind," Chifuyu muttered to himself with a soft, dry chuckle. He observed the two of you, certain that the gusts stealing away each word were responsible for the volume of your shouting. To anyone else, it might look like an argument, but he knew better, this was just the way you two communicated, intensity and all. His mind, almost naively optimistic, clung to the notion that you were trying to be civil, even if you looked like you were seconds away from throttling each other.
In his eyes, it was just another display of your unique, chaotic bond.
What a sweet mind that is.

You three finally arrived at the apartment building. The sky was dusky, casting long shadows that stretched across the concrete path leading up to the entrance. As you followed Keisuke up the worn stairs, he mentioned that Chifuyu lived here, too, just a few floors below on the second level, while Keisuke's apartment was on the fifth.
"Wow, destiny huh?" You asked smiling as you three climbed up the stairs, Chifuyu tagged along saying he'll stay with you guys in Keisuke's house.
