All I want and wanted was to live a good life, it's still to live a good life and be happy but I can't really get that can I? It's not possible right? How can it be possible when a perverted animal came in the picture and gave me a child when I was still in college now I'm nothing but a dropout. To begin with I don't have parents so I wasn't all emotionally tortured but still I have dreams and still do. I'm going to be handling this new born baby alone so for now my dreams have to wait. I sigh looking at the baby girl in my arms, she's too innocent for this sick world. In the midst of my agony and anger I had a heart not to get rid of her when I was pregnant though I still have a heart now so I'll take care of her till the very end. I study her features from her head to her face her eyes nose and her tiny shaped lips, she's beautiful. I'll call her Carmela, it's a name I've always loved. I turn my gaze to look around with a satisfied smile. I just moved into this apartment and I'm looking forward to having a peaceful life with my daughter here. I kiss Carmela's forehead trying to put her to sleep. It's to work no fixing this apartment the way I want. It's really going to be a long and stressful afternoon.

It's been weeks and I'm still trying to get a job here. It's quite harder than I expected. After my tiring day of job hunting I walk to the front door of Mrs Grammy's house where I keep Carmela before going out. Mrs Grammy is a nice woman living a simple life. She knows my story and is willing to take care of Carmela and I without showing us the slightest pity cause I hate being pitied. She lives next door actually. She opens the door revealing one of her cheerful smiles with Carmela in her arms
"Look who's back Carmela, it's who we've been waiting for" she says to Carmela who smiles at me. Carmela's smile is what brightens my day and makes me have a reason to push through cause I have to protect her and give her a good life
I stretch out my hands to carry her. "Did you miss me my sweet angel" I smile giving her a little tickle
"So how did it go" Mrs Grammy ask opening the door wider for me to come in.
I walk in settling on a one sitter with Carmela in my arms. "Same as always, why is it so hard"
"Hmm" she hums also settling on a seat opposite mine. "I saw something online you know, I wonder if you'd like it"
"What's that?" I ask brightening up. She unlocks her phone handing it to me
"It's a vacancy to work as a secretary in a company"
I study the info on her phone line by line. "How come I haven't seen this" I say rocking Carmela lightly
"Yh it's kind of like a private post" Mrs Grammy says collecting her phone. "So you're going right?"
"I don't see any choice" I smile with satisfaction finally no job hunting again
"Someone's happy" she says standing up. "Come on to the dining I've made dinner"
"I've told you not to stress yourself. You take care of Carmela when I'm away and still make dinner. I can fix something" I tell her which is obviously useless, she's not going to listen
"Did I tell you I'm stressed out. I have lots of energy to waste so come to the dining"she states walking away
I sigh, she's a pretty nice woman but she doesn't have to waste her energy on me

Derrick
"So this are all the files" I say eying the loads of files waiting for me to check
"No sir, there's one that just came in now and I didn't think it would be necessary since its late" my manager Mr Gin says
I brighten up. "Perfect, bring that last file and take these away. I'll accept the last one" I smile at him
"Err sir won't you still go through them" he asks looking puzzled
I snap my fingers sitting up. "No I've made up my mind, you'll see the last participant will be perfect, give me the file"
He hands it to me, I open it looking through. "Lorraine" I spell out the name
