I clear my throat a bit so I don't make any noise. Derrick and I are seated opposite his grandma and father in his house at the dinning. No one has said anything and I'm feeling slightly uncomfortable. Well I was the one who brought up the idea of Derrick and I telling his father about us even though I'm aware his grandma already told him.

"So you already have a child and you're not married" his father starts not looking at anyone

I spare Derrick a quick glance before turning back to my food

"It wasn't intentional and besides I'm willing to get married to her as soon as possible" I hear Derrick say which makes me choke on my saliva and I start coughing

Oh goodness coughing isn't appropriate for this moment.

"Are you okay" Derrick ask with his hand on my back

"Yes yes I'm okay" I flash him a brief smile

"Well your grandmother already called off your marriage to Sonia" his father continues then he starts smiling "I must say Derrick you have a very cute daughter I mean I love her chubby cheeks" his father says

"I know right" his grandma adds smiling

I smile turning to Derrick who's smiling. This simply means he agrees, at least this one didn't go bad.

*******
I smile looking at the stars well Derrick and I are looking at the stars. We're at the clearance after the bamboo tree forest.

"So why didn't you get mad at me when you found out your boss caused your ordeal" Derrick asks smoothing my hair

"Well I wanted to put things behind me and move on, I never thought I'd fall for you" I say looking up at him

He plants a kiss on my forehead "I'm the sexy Greek god you can't resist"

I nudge him a bit "I should probably have reported you to the police"

"You wouldn't have, I'm too handsome to be there"

I look back up at the sky with a smile. Derrick's grandma won't let me go back to my apartment. Leigh Anne has gone back but she'd be back soon this time with her mom. I can't seem to wonder any other happy feeling than this one.

So I decided to drop this epilogue.......
