Chapter 8

We arrive at 'Glamz boutique' which is an expensive place to be...umm that's for me. He walks in with a huge smile on his face while I just follow suit.
He leads me to the female wear section which is filled with dress and they are of latest designs
I sigh looking at the dresses, I can't pick out of any of these I mean it's too much. I look up at the CEO and back to the dresses and to him again.
He flashes me one of his signature smirks. "You're not picking I know" he says stepping in front of me, I step back with a sigh so he's not buying, good better.
"But I'm picking it for you, don't worry I know your style" he winks. I widen my eyes at his statement, he can't be serious he's picking my dress
"I really think these dresses here are a bit too much" I protest hoping he understands which of course he doesn't understand, he never listens.
I look up at his smiling face, why is he so smiley today, it's giving me the chills like he has something planned out

Well technically and surprisingly nothing bad happened I mean his all smiling mood wasn't for bad but good. He earlier picked a nice dress for me which is expensive I must say I tried talking him out of it but of course he never listens. Also surprisingly he picked a dress I'd definitely be comfortable with, I watched him take his time to do so. I kept wondering why, the dress he picked is beautiful too not too exposing that's how I like it. We're in his car now, he seems to be in a bad mood like he's angry or something. He earlier received a call after he paid for my dress, he said it was from and now that call seems to be the reason he's upset

"Is everything alright?" I ask
He masks his pissed expression with a smile looking at me "Is someone caring about me now?"
I can't still see in his eyes that he's not happy and he doesn't want to talk about it. I roll my eyes playing along as I turn to the window. I wonder what the problem is, i just feel this longing to know what's going on with him. Why am I worrying about him, I'm not supposed to, I'm strictly just working for him no strings attached. I don't even know his name yet, oh what's going on Lorraine.

"I'm heading to the company to rap up the game, you're coming with me" he says
"Sure" I simply say, I feel I should be by his side a bit more besides even if I don't want to come with him he'll make me.

I'm in the office adjusting and editing the opening of the game with Mr Gin while the CEO stepped out a while ago. I wonder where he went, this is not a good sign at all I'm beginning to care which is the least I should do right now and I'm supposed to figure a way to tell him he has a child.
"You're going with Mr Sawyer on Monday right" Mr Gin asks beside me
I furrow my brows "who?"
"Derrick Sawyer the CEO"
"Oh" I mouth, my face brightens in realization, his name is Derrick "Yes I am"
He smiles nodding his head "It's a welcome party at his house" he says turning back to the laptop. I have seen it in Mr Sawyer's schedule that it's a welcome party but I'm kinda curious to know who its for, it won't hurt to know
"Umm do you know who it's for?" I ask
"Oh it's for his fiance, his dad and grandma arranged a marriage for him though it has not taken place yet. The party is to welcome her" he explains
Suddenly my heart aches, he has a fiance and also has a child with me. Why do I feel hurt, it's not supposed to bother me besides telling him about Carmela won't do anything but ruin his love life and I don't want to do such but I'm hurting. I need to go home now I really need to
I stand up from my seat "I should be on my way, tell him I went home please" I say and walk out not waiting for his answer. I also hope I don't bump into him on my way out.
