Location: the astronomy tower

Ashley and Louis were sitting next to each other in astronomy, as in just six minutes Professor Sinistra would begin teaching her year sixes. It was the first official day of classes since the death of Ruby, and even something as simple as sitting in class made it painfully hard as they were reminded of her absence. Normally it would be Ruby sitting next to them, but instead their third seat remained empty just the same as their conversation. They just sat there in complete silence.

Once the bell rang the professor spoke, "Good morning, students! I hope you all will enjoy this year, learning all about astronomy! This class is a very special one, as we all will meet in this tower every Wednesday at midnight. However, please don't use this as an excuse for anything mischievous, as I will take house points away if I find out any of you are using this to your own personal advantage. I hope you all are looking forward to learning all about astronomy in this class, as I am looking forward to teaching you students!"

Just as she finished giving her speech, Ophelia walked inside the classroom and all eyes were on her. She tried to ignore it, although she felt very uncomfortable with all of the attention.

"Miss Decker, you're late. Do you have a reasonable excuse?" Professor Sinistra asked, hoping that the girl did. She didn't like punishing students, but was always sure to be fair about things.

"I uh, had a headache."

"I'm sorry to hear about this, but I'm afraid due to your tardiness I have no choice but to take away house points. Five points from Ravenclaw." She stated as Ophelia scanned the room for an empty seat.

Ignoring the glares she got from some of the Ravenclaws, she headed over to where Louis and Ashley were sitting, which also happened to be the only location with a seat open at.

As the Hogwarts professor continued speaking, Ashley whispered, "Lia, is everything alright?"

Ophelia nodded. "Y-yeah, everything's fine."

"Yeah right, clearly you're lying. I can always spot a liar." Louis disclosed, leaning closer to the girl with many suspicions on his mind, "So, what is it?"

"Fine. I overslept and had a bad dream, but it wasn't real, so who cares?" Ophelia revealed, as they both just stared at her to continue, "Basically we were all found guilty of you-know-what and so all seven of us got sent to Azkaban. That's it, but obviously it's not true so it doesn't even matter. Dreams are dreams for a reason, now let's just focus."

"Well obviously we all didn't do it." Louis stated, "But I do have a feeling on who it is though. It's gotta be-"

"Grayson, Decker, Monroe." The professor called out, causing them to each jumped up after hearing their names called. All eyes also went to them in the middle of the classroom, "Clearly the three of you have something important to talk about, considering you're talking during my lesson. In which that case, would you like to share it with the class?"

"No, professor. I apologize, it won't happen again." Ashley replied quietly, feeling irritated over the whole ordeal. This was clearly more important than astronomy, as much she did normally enjoy the class. Although lately, she has been finding it hard to enjoy anything anymore.

"I'm sure it won't, Miss Monroe. I expect more from you." Professor Sinistra expressed before getting back to her lesson.

It was the last period of the day as the year five Slytherins and Gryffindors were in Transfiguration class with Professor McGonagall, who was going on about the importance of not goofing off in this class and how this would be their last time taking this required core class. Anything after that would be only for the exempt few who not only wanted to advance to the N.E.W.T level, but also had the ability of achieving a high O.W.L. score of either 'outstanding' or 'exceeds expectations' on their final test at the end of the school year.
