Chap 21: Short Fight

You and your crewmates were fighting the pirates with your material arts, except for Law as he used his devil fruit ability. Law called out his Room and immediately began to slice through the enemies, the very moment they were inside the range of his ability.
This fight didn't even last an hour; it ended in less than 30 minutes with your victory. You didn't really had to do much as you just stayed close to your crewmates and just knocked down every enemy who came at you.
"There are more of them than I thought..." It was completely different from getting rid of pirates in a pub as those pirates you were facing were more notorious than the ones you had ever encountered before. That made you think that you were really lucky that these kinds of pirates hadn't been in your town before. It was way tougher to fight them as they were way more rougher and also seemed more experienced to fighting than those you had seen before. But regardless, the Heart Pirates overpowered them with their martial arts.

The ground was now covered from beaten pirates; and all of them were from the unknown pirate group. Opposite from them, not a single crewmate of yours had been rendered unconscious or beaten to the point of not being able to move.
It was as if the weather's circumstances had matched the end of the one-sided battle and had also completly ceased now.
"What are we going to do now?" you asked once everything had ended. "What do you want to do?" Law questioned you. Even though you wondered why he was asking you, you had to think a little about it and eventually came up with an idea.

So, after you had defeated the pirates, you restrained them and put them back onto their ship while you sent the ship far away.

"I'm a little beat..." What you said seemed to be the case for everyone else, seeing how they were in a panting mess and covered in light bruises as well as cuts. But luckily, none of them had any serious injuries. So now that everything was taken care of, you all could finally go back to the hideout, settle down and rest.
Or so you thought.
Because now that such a huge incident had happened, there was no way that you could lay low. So you had to leave the island as fast as possible or the villagers could think that you were also the ones behind the destruction of their village.

While on your way back to your submarine, you could feel someone's stare at you, so you took a look at your environment. Of course, all you saw were your comrades who were walking down the same path as you, so there didn't seem to be anything wrong at first. But you soon found the one who was responsible for you feeling this way.
"Do you mind me asking why you're staring at me? Did I do anything I shouldn't have done?" you asked that person. Right after you had said that, he avoided looking at you and gazed straight ahead instead. But eventually, he responded to you, "I was just thinking about how your combat skills were really good." You smirked upon hearing him say that. "I know right? Pretty-" Unfortunately, you couldn't complete your sentence because your comrades got in between you two and started to cheer for you, saying how cool you were out there before and whatnot. Ikkaku put her arm around your shoulders and made a huge jump forward, which made you stumble and almost fall down. Luckily, you didn't and you manage to keep your balance somehow. So you were now looking up to her while she exclaimed, "You were so cool just now and pretty strong!"
With a big grin, you stated, "Jup, I pretty much was!", and began to chuckle for a bit.

In the midst of all the talking with your comrades, your captain spoke up, "We're back! Let's get moving and leave this island!" And so you all entered your submarine and shortly after, went back underwater. Not much had happened at your first experience as a pirate but still, many different things would come to you eventually.
The next adventure could now appear!
