In which, Salem has had a bad day but it's better when she comes home and Tommy is there.

Salem was used to bad days. but she was having them more often than not lately. but today was the worst. she got harassed by multiple men and haters on the street. she felt beyond tired. and not only that since she had turned eighteen, she was now able to have to contact information of her real parents. and there was a lot of pressure on that. as well as working on merch and future ideas for streams.
after a long day, Salem walked through the front door to her shared apartment with Briony and Wilbur. Wilbur didn't actually live there but he was around often enough. she hoped she could just have a bath and relax after today. she really couldn't be bothered to do anything.
but as she walked into her bedroom she was greeted by something much better.
"tommy!" Salem couldn't help but smile.
Tommy grinned and looked up from his phone as he was sat on her bed, "hey!" he beamed, "i thought since you haven't had the best week i would come and see you."
Salem almost burst into tears. she had been having the most draining week of her life and Tommy being there actually made her feel okay. noticing she was about to cry, Tommy got up and wrapped his arms around her.
"don't cry, you wimp." Tommy teased.
"fuck you." Salem half laughed and half sobbed.
Tommy and Salem sat watching grease, cuddled up under a fluffy blanket. Briony and Wilbur had cooked tonight so Wilbur brought them up mac and cheese for dinner. he knew Salem wasn't in the best mood but that didn't stop him teasing the couple before leaving.
"have you been working on your merch?" Tommy casually asked.
Salem nodded, "yeah but i'm not sure about designs yet. i'm not too keen on most of them."
"don't stress yourself out." Tommy reminded, resting his chin on her head, "i don't want you to keep putting pressure on yourself. And you know you can call me if things aren't great."
"i know but you have stuff to do.."
"doesn't matter. i care about you and i'll always be here." he assured.
and Salem couldn't help but smile.
"i'll take you out tomorrow." Tommy stated, "get your mind off everything."
"thank you." Salem whispered softly and kissed Tommy on the cheek.
Tommy just shrugged, blushing slightly, "that's what boyfriends are for."
