⚠️warning⚠️ unholy thoughts? Not major I know but still, you've been warned my darlings, now enjoy :)

*time skip: roughly a week later*

I'd fallen asleep watching movies with Nat in her room when I woke up. It's like my brain knew to wake me up when it rained during the night. I could hear it hitting the floor to ceiling windows of my favourite red head's room - it was heavy rain.

I carefully got up, making sure not to wake the deadly spy, I did not need to get full on tackled to the floor and nearly punched unconscious again. Once I was out of her room I raced to the nearest way out onto the large grass area of the compound, not caring I was in my pjs with no shoes.

I ripped the door open, not bothering to check if it had shut behind me, and sprinted into the blanket of rain. I laughed at the coolness, enjoying the faint massage it gave me. Rain was always my favourite weather, it pushed most of the world indoors and muted the majority of noise. It made me feel like I was the only person alive, like there was nothing in the world to bring me down.

I think a big part of my love for this weather stemmed from me growing up in England. It rained there almost all the time, and I really appreciated that when I discovered how relaxing it was to sit by the window or under a tree and enjoy it. Not many things brought me comfort at that point in my life, but mother nature provided one that never failed me and for that I'd always be grateful.

I spun around giggling, letting myself get soaked to the bone and not caring one bit that my hair would get ruined or my clothes would stick to my body. After running around like a headless chicken for a while I fell back and landed with a small thud (more of a squelch really) on my back, staring into the dark grey clouds above. They matched the compound almost perfectly, as if someone had painted the concrete building then spilt water on the canvas causing the colour to bleed up into the sky.

I laughed loudly, and after a small pause started humming to a song I'd had stuck in my head for the last few days. It was Freaks but a slowed version I'd found on spotify. Soon enough I started singing it without even realizing, and created my own little world of peace. I didnt notice the blue eyes keeping a careful watch on me from the door I'd left ajar, and the matching ears listening to my voice.

Bucky's POV:

I was still awake reading one of the books Sam had given me when I heard someone run past my door. I looked at the clock and saw it was just after 4am, who is running around at this hour?

I left my room and headed in the direction the footsteps went. I felt the cold breeze whip round me and saw the open door that led to the grounds of the compound. I hadn't noticed the rain until now, and it was heavy. The rain was always quite soothing for me, the sound giving me something to focus on and calm me down. I wish it rained more here, like it does in the UK.

As I went close the door I saw someone running around on the grass. They were completely soaked yet smiling and laughing like it was the best weather theyd seen for months. That's when I realized. It was her. My Doll was out there. And she looked overjoyed at the rain, like it had washed all her cares away.

Her hair was dripping, sticking to her face, and her pyjamas had clung to her body. Her body. The sight sent a voice in my brain into a frenzy, marveling at her curves that she never showed. It was a similar reaction to the one I had last week when she was in a tshirt - and nothing else. Even just the sight of those legs and knowing she wasnt wearing shorts sent that voice crazy, but this?! I was almost primal at the sight.
