"Baby, what do you mean? We have a fight tonight?" Dream asks, bewildered.

"Mhm. I'll pack for you, you just pack your tooth brush and face wash and all that." George says.

"You don't have to do that if you don't want to, I don't want you to think I expect that." Dream says.

"Shut up, I want to. Go pack the rest!" George was so excited. He booked everything to be above and beyond, but didn't want to impose any planned activities for the trip. He wanted it to be mellow and relaxing, and wanted to be consumed by all things Dream.

At the airport, it was hard to keep the destination a secret. "Can you tell me now that we're here?" Dream asks, and George finally agrees.

"There's this city in California called San Diego, and it seemed more mellow than all the other beach cities. I got us an Airbnb, it kinda overlooks then ocean. I liked that and I felt like you would too." George finished.

"No way! I've always wanted to go to California. What made you choose there?"

"I always wanted to go, too. But hey, I'll plan a trip to go back in winter. I don't wanna explore too much, let's just spend time at the beach and relax, ya? I promise I will take you back so you can see everything."

Dream moves George's long hair out of his face, and kisses his forehead "that sounds great."

The place they were staying was beautiful, a very modern home that was spacious and comfortable. The house was laced with technology, allowing them to play music from anywhere or see the front door camera to check if anyone was coming. There was a pool, multiple rooms that wouldn't get used, and a beautiful kitchen that had absolutely no food.

"Pizza? Chinese? Sushi?" George starts to ask Dream as he grows more starved by the second.

"Whatever you want baby, I'll eat anything. I don't think I'm as hungry as you." Dream says.

"We are next to the ocean... sushi? Maybe it's extra fresh and good." George secretly wanted sushi the whole time.

They order the sushi in, because the travel was exhausting and they could go out all the other days. They eat on the floor, using the coffee table instead of the big table. It was unspoken, they kinda just sat there instantly and absentmindedly because they were so hungry. They fed each other different pieces, Dream watched as his boyfriend devoured the food with pride in his heart, and then Dream felt it was time to open the wine that was in the kitchen as a welcome-in gift.

They never drank, but both figured as they were in a comfortable setting, alone, and that it was already there for them, that they would drink it. They didn't expect to drink a lot but George drank half and Dream drank the other, and they were extreme light-weights.

"Did I ever even tell you?" Dream says, almost with a slur in his words.

"What?" George asks, starting to laugh.

"I like you. I like like you. I love you. I know it's so soon... you don't have to say it back, uh, but do you wanna..."

"I love you too, and I'll tell you again when I'm sober." George says.

Dream picks at his fingers smiling. "Come here." He motions for George to get in his lap. George does so, and there is no time wasted. They start kissing sweetly. As they kiss, Dream massages George's shoulders. He starts kissing down George's neck. "You earned this, huh? You did all this for me, when I'm supposed to spoil you. You know that too, you don't listen."
