Luna Finley's P.O.V
After the whole ordeal involving Noah, I forced Astro to take me home. I didn't want to stay there feeling horrible and see Sam and him be all lovey-dovey. Astro didn't complain much and I'm thankful for that.
I guess you could say I thought Noah was different. For once I felt alive and I had something to look forward to every morning, but now I know that was all in my head. I wish he would've told me he was with someone from the beginning. I would not have invested my time and feelings into him this much if I knew.
I feel so lost for words and feebleminded for thinking he liked me how I liked him. I just want him out of my thoughts and life, but sadly he is downstairs right now.
I got up from my bed and quietly exited my room to see why he was here. I sat at the top of the stairs and tried to eavesdrop on the conversation.
"Are you going to tell me what's wrong Noah?" My brother asked sounding very concerned.
Noah didn't answer for a while. I could hear his footsteps as if he was pacing. "I messed up. I messed up so bad, Astro."
"What happened?"
"Samantha-" He started to say. "S-she's pregnant!"
I covered my mouth in shock and tried to silence my gasp. Noah got her pregnant?
"How many weeks?" Astro asked in shock.
"She didn't say." Noah replied. "I hadn't seen her in nearly a month, and the thing is I haven't had sex with her in almost two months."
Was Sam cheating on him? Noah doesn't deserve that, in matter of fact no one deserves that. I shook my head, this was not any of my business, yet I'm eavesdropping. Great.
"What if she is cheating on me, Astro." He said in realization.
"I mean there is a possibility, is she showing at all?"
"I couldn't tell." He replied. "She's been wearing loose shirts lately."
"You need to talk to her." Astro said. Noah mumbled something I couldn't comprehend and left.
I walked down the stairs and into the living room. Astro sat on the couch with his head in his hands.
"What just happened?" I asked sitting down next to him causing him to sit up.
"You heard all that?" He asked and sat up straighter.
I nodded. "Do you really think Sam would cheat on Noah? They have been together for so long, why now?"
"People have their reasons I guess." He said. "I overheard Sam and Miles talking in the kitchen while you and Noah were upstairs; they were yelling actually. I couldn't hear much from where I was sitting, but I pretty sure the word 'baby' came up a few times."
"Oh my god, is it Miles' baby?"
"It could be, but it's only an assumption." He said.
"Astro you need to tell Noah."
"He needs to talk to Sam first to get her side." He said and ran a hand through his hair.
"I guess so."
"Why were you eavesdropping anyways?" He asked.
"Well I heard him downstairs and yeah." I replied, not knowing what to say really.
"You never told me why we left Noah's you know."
"It's stupid, really stupid." I said and sighed.
