Luna Finely's P.O.V
"Take mom's car, we'll cover way more ground." Astor said as threw the keys to me.
I caught them and nodded. "Where are you going to look?"
"Probably his house, then around town." He explained and began walking towards the front door. "What about you?"
I thought for a moment. "Oh my god."
"What?" My brother asked eagerly.
"I think I have an idea where he is. Look where you think he is though, just in case he isn't where I think he is."
I ran out of my home and to my Mom's car. I unlocked it and quickly put the key into the ignition. I waved at Astro as I reversed out of our driveway.
I drove as fast as I could, legally, towards the edge of town. My heart was pounding in my chest because of the anxiety I was feeling at the moment. I want him to be okay. I'm guessing his phone died, but the mood he was in is not safe. For all I know he crashed his car. No, I shouldn't be thinking like that.
Later on, I turned the radio on and then focused back on the dark road ahead of me. I don't know how long I've been driving, but I do know I'm pretty close the the spot. Maybe four or five songs later, I pull up onto the beach.
I see Noah's truck parked off to the side and I instantly run out of the car. I sprint towards his truck and peer in the dark window; he isn't there. Of course.
I sigh and look towards the water. I squint my eyes and see a figure sitting down near the ocean. I walk towards it, and discover it's Noah.
I sat down and looked over at him briefly. His blue eyes were red and filled with tears. His jaw was clenched and his eyebrows furrowed.
"I'm sorry." I said softly and looked back at the water.
"I don't fucking care anymore." He begins. "Two years of a relationship and a life long friendship, meant shit to her."
"You know that isn't true."
"How could she do that to me?" He whispers and looked at me. "I thought she loved me."
"She does, I can tell. What she did was completely wrong, and I understand why you may think she doesn't."
Noah just shook his head. "No, I was just stupid for thinking that a long distance relationship would actually work out."
"They aren't easy that's for sure."
"How would you know?" He said harshly.
"I don't know."
"Why are you here?" He asked significantly calmer.
"I was worried. The call ended so fast and you were driving." I said quickly.
"Thank you." He said quietly.
"Don't thank me."
It was silent for a while; only the sounds of the waves could be heard.
"I'm sorry." He said breaking the silence.
"Save it." I said a little harshly. "I don't need your pity. What was said, was said; there is no changing that. Frankly I could care less now."
"Luna-"
"I understand you don't have feelings for me. I'm willing to set my feelings for you aside."
"Luna, what if I don't want you to do that?"
My heart began to race. "You don't know what you're saying."
"I'm pretty sure I do."
"Don't do this, Noah. I you can't fucking mess with my feelings." I said and stood up.
"Luna, I-"
"You're obviously out of your normal mindset. Talk to me when you figure out what you want."
With that I drove home, leaving my heart behind with Noah on the beach.
