Sunoo is waiting for his best friend Sunghoon at a dog cafe .. it's their usual meeting place since Sunghoon loves puppies . the older said he has something important to tell Sunoo today and our sunshine was so excited because what if he'll say he likes him ?? he's been dying to hear that from him .. it's already been like two to three years that he realized that he likes Sunghoon but was too afraid to confess because he doesn't want to ruin their friendship. he treasures Sunghoon so much that he can't afford to risk their relationship .
soon enough , Sunoo heard the door decor chimes indicating for a new visitor who came in . he immediately turned his head and saw Sunghoon smiling at him that he returned with a sweet smile .
but as soon as the other person came in behind him , Sunoo's smile disappeared . it was Jake .. Sunghoon's long time crush . yes , he obviously knows .. he's Sunghoon's bestfriend after all and they share secrets but Sunoo hasn't been honest to him . he hides the fact that he likes his best friend .
" hi sun ! sorry , we're late .. jake woke up late that I have to wait for him " Sunghoon told him and slightly giggled .. same as jake who's so clingy to him right now . he knows they're close but not this close .. did he missed something overnight ?
Sunoo was about to answer but Jake suddenly talked " it's your fault hoonie ! if you haven't video called me until 1 am , maybe I get enough sleep and woke up early " jake said that made Sunoo's right eyebrow raise .. did he just called Sunghoon as hoonie ? he even saw Jake playfully slap Sunghoon's arms .
" well , don't say it like you haven't enjoyed it babe .. " Sunoo was surprised with what he heard from Sunghoon . he just clearly called Jake as babe .. wait what ?
" babe ?!" Sunoo was bewildered .. babe ?? what the freak .
" ahh .. oh gosh sun . I forgot to tell you about our news " the older said and Sunoo just stared at him confused .. he then snaked his arms around Jake's waist . Sunoo's eyes just followed his movements .
" I and Jake .. we're finally dating sun . officially !! " Sunghoon exclaimed and kissed Jake on the top of his head softly . Sunoo was shocked by the news ofcourse and he can't even make any sound .
he felt his heart shattering into pieces as he heard the news . he doesn't expect Sunghoon to say this to him . not this time .. not this early ! he knows the older likes Jake and wants to date him but this is too soon . they just got close in less than a month . why is it so fast ?
Sunoo wanted to cry but afraid the two would see him so instead he smiled painfully but clenching his fist . he wants to burst from anger and disappointment .. that should be him !
" sun , are you okay ? " Sunghoon asked him when he noticed that the younger was silent . Jake also looked at him worriedly and if Sunoo can just poke him in the eyes , he would but no .. Jake's a nice guy . he didn't do anything wrong , it's just Sunoo who can't accept the fact that made him mad .
" a-ahh , yes hyung I'm fine . congratulations to you both !" he said and hugged both of them
" thank you Sunoo ! I promise to take care of Sunghoon from now on " Jake said after they separated from the hug .
Sunoo nodded though he wasn't fond of the idea that someone will do the thing he was continuously doing ever since him and Sunghoon met .
he can't take this anymore .. he might break down any moment . he wants to escape . he needed to .
" hyung .. I forgot , I have an appointment . I'll go now " he said, trying to escape from more heart break because for sure , if he'll stay there any longer , he'll witness how inlove they are .
" okay , okay .. you can leave . me and Jake will go for a date instead . take care sunshine " Sunghoon said and ruffled his hair .
it pains him hearing the both of them will have a date but when he heard Sunghoon called him sunshine , it eases a bit . he's still be his sunshine no matter what .
he rushes down the pavement , bursting in tears . he should release this heavy feeling .. he must .
soon enough , he bumped into someone that caused him to lose his balance but thankfully , the stranger firmly holds him in his wrist .
" oh gosh , can you please be careful ?!" the stranger said with a hint of irritation .
Sunoo regained his balance and stood straight . he bowed at the guy he just bumped , indicating he was sorry .
" I'm sorry mister , but can you please release my hand ?" he said and the guy instantly released it . he was also surprised that he was still holding it .
" sorry " the guy also said
" it's okay , thank you and I'm sorry again . I have to go " Sunoo just said and bowed again before leaving the guy .
the guy just stood there and watched as Sunoo run away from him .. he was just amazed by how he runs . he's like a kid .

so how is it ? this is the first part of the Sunki book that you've been waiting for lol .. this might not be the same as the other one so please bear with me . I have to do it this way ..
and some of you might complain again like, “ it's always him ..” I'm sorry if Sunghoon will be mentioned once again being related to Sunoo .. don't worry , I got you guys .. he has Jake now 😂
