Weeks passed , and Ni-ki already started his treatment . His dad was so hands on in taking care of him , maybe it's his way of apologizing . Ni-ki feels that his dad was slowly becoming like what he used to when his mom was still there . That loving and caring dad that he admired ever since .
Being a patient who's undergoing a chemotherapy was hard , even though you couldn't feel pain during the treatment . It just that the side effects of it is making him feel sick . He can't eat like he used to since he's always loses his appetite . He was now so thin .
He even felt like he was overdosed but he's not .. the medicine is just in a high dosage . He sometimes vomit even if there's nothing to discharge since he couldn't eat properly . But good thing , his dad and jungwon always forces him to eat even by little . Just for his body to sustain the long phase treatment .
He doesn't even saw Sunoo after their get away but he always thinks about him . He's one of the reasons why he's undergoing the treatment after all .
However Sunoo was worried about Ni-ki since the younger doesn't contact him anymore or even go to his house . Ni-ki's welcome to their house always but why doesn't he came ? Is he avoiding Sunoo? Did something happened to him ? Did he fell out of love ? Sunoo was overthinking right now . It's as if Ni-ki vanished into thin air .
The thought of visiting him comes into his mind multiple times but he's afraid that Ni-ki's dad will get angry at them since Ni-ki once told them that he's a homophobic . Though , Ni-ki didn't told him that his dad also beats him most of the time . It's been a secret that Ni-ki was ashamed to tell Sunoo .
" Hyung , can you contact Jungwon ? I just want to ask how's Ni-ki is doing .. I can't contact him " Sunoo knows that the two was neighbors .
" Why ? Did he dumped you ? Why isn't he contacting you ? I've never seen him going here also .. did you both fought ?"
" No , we didn't . I'm also wondering why he didn't contact me anymore . I'm worried about him . What if something bad happened to him and he needs help ?" He spoke and worry is evident in him ..
" Okay , I'll ask Jungwon . You wanna go to his place ? I'm going there now " he asked the younger and Sunoo nodded , whilst pouting .
The two of them arrived in less than an hour and saw Jungwon going outside with a backpack . He slammed the door in a hurry .
" Love , where are you going ? I thought we're going out today ?" Jay told him when he was near them .
Jungwon looked at them as if he was surprised to see the siblings . He completely forgot about their plan to hang out . And plus thing , Sunoo is also there .
" Oh , I forgot love . I'm sorry , I'll make it up to you next time . I need to go to the hospital right now , I'm in a hurry " when he said those , he paused , realizing what he just said . Oh , he'll just make up a lie to cover it now .
" Umm , I'm going to dad , he's in duty right now ." But when he said those , a car honk heading near them .
" Oh Jungwon , why are you still here ? Ni-ki's alone right now . His dad has work " his dad suddenly said and the two brothers just looked at him in confusion . Sunoo was nervous from what he just heard .
" D-dad .. umm ,"
" What happened to Ni-ki ? Jungwon tell me !" Sunoo demanded , raising his voice a bit . He was so frustrated and nervous. He needs to know what really happened to Ni-ki .
" Sunoo .. " Jungwon gripped on the strap of his backpack tight . He couldn't escape in this mess . His dad came in the wrong timing .
" Excuse me , but Sunoo right ?" The man asked and Sunoo nodded , waiting for what Jungwon's dad was about to say " Ni-ki has a leukemia "
When he heard those , he felt his knees weakened .. his heart was beating so fast that he could almost hear it . Tears run down his cheeks as he started to sob ..
