" No ! Can't you understand ?! I'm not going to live longer ! You should leave me while you still have time " Ni-ki shouted . He's so frustrated about his current state and was so irritable . He pours all his anger to Sunoo .
The other boy just cried . He doesn't understand why Ni-ki is acting like this . He used to be brave before , but now he isn't . It feels like he's really waiting to die .
" No , I won't leave you , Ni-ki . Even if you push me away , I'll stay . I love you and I want to take care of you . Please remember that . "
" Why ? You want to take care of the dying ?! That's stupid Sunoo . Just leave me alone . I don't want to be a burden anymore . Once is enough . You already did your part before . " It pains Sunoo to hear those from Ni-ki . He's changed . He wasn't the Ni-ki that he knew .
" You'll never be a burden to me or to anyone , love . Just calm down . And there's no way I'm leaving you so stop thinking negative . Okay , here's your pills " Sunoo took a bottle of his pills and was about to open it but Ni-ki shoved it away that caused the bottle to fell and shatter into pieces .
Sunoo was shocked by how harsh Ni-ki acted . He could see the anger in his eyes . He's a bit afraid of him but he still loves him .
" What the hell Ni-ki ! Why did you do that ? Don't you know how pricey those medicines are ? Your father worked hard for that " he scolded him to make him realize what he just did .
" I know it cost a fortune . That's why I don't want to take those . For my dad to stop wasting his money on me . I'll die soon so what's the use of those ? Even if how many bottles of those stupid pills , I still won't live . I'll die Sunoo , can't you understand ? I'm saying this to you a hundred times already ! "
Sunoo just listened to him , unbothered as he pick the bottle that's on the floor . It couldn't go to waste .
" I don't care . So don't be a stubborn and take a pill today . " He offered with a glass of water " and don't ever think of throwing these away . I'll pour this water to you if you'll do that " he warned . He feels a bit annoyed at how Ni-ki acted but still keep his cool .
Ni-ki stayed silent for a while .. maybe he's thinking about something then opened his mouth .
" Good boy . " Sunoo patted his head before placing the glass at the bedside table .
" You can leave now , I took the medicine . "
" No , I'll stay . So rest now . I'll leave after you fell asleep . Wonie will come here later to check on you "
Without any words , Ni-ki did what he was told and fell asleep . The medicine made him calm .

Days turns to weeks and weeks turns to months . The longer Ni-ki stayed at the hospital , the weaker he gets . He's skinnier than before and have those dark circles around his eyes . His lips were so pale , slightly sore and his body is so feeble . He couldn't make long walks as he gets tired easily . He now uses a wheelchair .
" Hi love ! I got my permission from your doctor . We'll go outside today " Sunoo suddenly spoke that surprised him .
" Where are we going ?"
" On the place where we first met . At the park! " Sunoo smiled as he remembers the past . He then pushed Ni-ki's wheelchair .
" Huhh ? Didn't we met at the sidewalks near the pet cafe ? That day when I bumped you "
" Uh .. the park is where we officially met love . And don't remind me of my past heartbreak . It wasn't that worth it " He said not wanting to remember how he cried for Sunghoon that day .
Good thing , the park wasn't that far from the hospital . It just took them 15 minutes of walk . And Ni-ki wasn't that heavy to push .
" We're here , love !" Sunoo cheerfully announced though Ni-ki already saw that they have arrived .
Ni-ki roamed his eyes around the place . It has a picnic blanket with a picnic basket at the center . It's like what they always did whenever they're going there .
Sunoo helped Ni-ki to sit on the blanket comfortably and took the space beside him . He wrapped his arms around Ni-ki's small frame and hugged him tightly .
" I love you Ni-ki . I never loved someone else like how I did to you . You're so precious to me " Sunoo stated and Ni-ki just listened to him . He felt Sunoo's tears falling on his neck . He turned to look at him .
" Don't cry . I hate to see you crying like this . "
Sunoo wiped his own tears because he didn't want Ni-ki to do it .
" But it's still nice to know that someone's gonna cry for me when I'll die . " Ni-ki added that made Sunoo to cry even more . He hates to hear things like this but it's inevitable . Ni-ki's time is almost running out .
" Promise me , love . That if I'll die , you'll love someone else . Don't be stuck on me forever . You should find your happiness . "
" And if that day comes , please introduce them to me . I want you to show me that you really found your happiness . Because all I ever wanted is for you to be happy . " Ni-ki said before he went silent . He's crying .
" Okay , I will , love . But please remember that you'll forever be in my heart . " Sunoo said while he sobs . His chest was aching from too much sadness .
" I love you Ni-ki " he holds Ni-ki's hands tight and was still hugging him from the back .
" I love you too , sunshine .. " Those were the words that came out from him before his grip from Sunoo's hand loosened .
And by that , he knows that the love of his life did left him .. permanently .
He couldn't see his smiles anymore . He couldn't hear his laughs , his cheerful yells and those sweet I love yous from him . He couldn't feel his touch once again .
He should let go of him but he can't . He shouldn't . He wouldn't . He knows he promised Ni-ki that he'll find his happiness . But Ni-ki is happiness . He is still his happiness even he was in pure sadness right now . But he's still grateful that Ni-ki was no longer feeling pain . He can rest now .
" Rest my love .. rest . " He said before spacing out . He's still hugging Ni-ki's lifeless body .
From afar , he saw Ni-ki smiling at him and waving his hands goodbye . He's happy . He's free from pain now . Sunoo should be happy too . He just watched as Ni-ki slowly fades from his sight .
