ni-ki is at jungwon's house now . the older is really curious now that he knew the news from his boyfriend that ni-ki and sunoo are already together .
" is it true ni-ki ?" he finally asked when he came back from the kitchen to get two cans of soda
" yeah , I like him .."
" I'm happy for you both but what's your plan now ? do you want to start the therapy ?" jungwon thinks that if he have sunoo now , he'll also have the will to continue his life .
" I'm not sure .. and besides , I believe my illness will be hard to cure . so what's the point of undergoing a therapy ? it'll be a waste of money " ni-ki answered and jungwon feels like his friend had already given up .
" don't worry about the money ni-ki . I can make dad help you . I'll find sponsors if it's still not enough . just do the therapy " this time , jungwon is really desperate . all he wants for now is for his friend to have a longer life .
ni-ki shakes his head .. he doesn't want to be a burden to anyone . jungwon's family had been so good to him and he doesn't want to take advantage of it . he also doesn't want to tell his dad . he's afraid he'll hurt him more .
" don't worry about me won .. you know how I wanted to be with my mom again . "
jungwon felt like tearing up as he felt hot tears threatening to fall from his eyes but had to blink it away .
" ni-ki .. " he just said but ni-ki just gave him a warm smile . and with that , jungwon couldn't hold the tears anymore . it is so hard and painful seeing your friend slowly dying but you couldn't do anything to help him because he doesn't want any .
" yah , don't cry ! I'm not even dead .. " he said that made jungwon to cry harder . hearing that from him makes it harder for jungwon . he only had ni-ki ever since they're young but now , he knows that ni-ki will leave him soon .. permanently .
ni-ki doesn't want to make his hands wet so he wiped jungwon's tears with the sleeve of his sweater instead . they've been so close but not to the point that they would be this dramatic . it's kinda awkward .
" stop mentioning that word ni-ki as if it's nothing to you .. "
" okay okay , just stop crying . someone might misunderstood this if they'll see you in this state . " jungwon nods but still sniffling
" does sunoo knew about this ?"
ni-ki became silent after that . he is guilty for keeping it from him . he just shakes his head as a no .
" really ni-ki ?! what's your plan ? leaving him completely lost and confused ? gosh ni-ki , I can't imagine how painful that will be for him " jungwon uttered .. he really wanted to scold ni-ki . this isn't right anymore .
" it's better that way . he'll be hurt after I die then he can forget me ."
jungwon can't really understand what's on his friend's mind . does his illness affects his sense of understanding things ?
" ni-ki , if you love him .. you won't hurt him " jungwon spoke and ni-ki just bit his own lips . he can't believe himself saying those words earlier .
he now feels like he's the worst boyfriend to ever exist .
