Y/n's POV

I was so nervous today was the day I decided to come out to Five, my loving boyfriend. We been dating for almost a year now. I love him so much and I don't wanna keep any secrets from him. I knew I wanted to come out to him when I felt sad at the store.

Flashback:
"Hey do you wanna get a dress since we are going on a date?" Five asked me.
"Uh no.."
"Then what do you want? My girlfriend deserves the world." He kissed my hand and I giggled but something didn't feel right the word girlfriend... to be honest I never felt like a girl..

That was over a week ago even before then I never felt like a girl.. or a boy? That's when one day my best friend came out to me that they are non binary. At first I had no idea what they were talking about but they told me all about it! I researched more about it when I got home and I never been so happy!

But there is also a hard part..coming out. I only told Klaus which he obviously accepted me. Anyways I am going to be coming out to Five after I go out and eat with my friends, I open the door at the restaurant and see all my friends. All my friends knew I was non binary, so they use my pronouns they/them. Also my new name!

"Hey guys!" I walk to my friends table and sit down.
"Hi (Y/n/n)!"
"Hi!!"
"Hey.."
"Sooo what are you guys going to get?" I asked looking my at the menu.
"Well me and sapphire are getting the cheeseburger with a Margarita." Sam said.
"How about you Lizzie?"
"Some ribs."
"Hmmm maybe I should get ribs too."  I said

We ordered and waited for our food, Lizzie and I needed to use the restroom so we headed towards the bathroom. She opened the door the girls bathroom and I opened the gender neutral one.
"What are you doing?" She asked rudely.
"Uh using the restroom?" I giggle nervously.
"Why the gender neutral one?"
"Because I'm non binary remember?"

"Oh shit your serious?" She laughed, what's so funny?
"Why are you laughing?"
"Oh come on, non binary? That's so fake."
"It's not how the hell is that fake?" I asked mad.
"Okay you don't feel like a girl or a boy? That doesn't make sense." I took a deep breath in and out because I was going to beat this girl's ass.

"Listen you might think it's fake, but I know for a fact that's it's normal and every normal person knows that too, so if you don't like it then you can just leave because I don't wanna see another second of this disgusting attitude!" I snapped. Her face was so shocked.

I left and went back to my table. The rest of dinner was okay? It was awkward between Lizzie and I. Me and her are good friends but you can tell she is toxic.
After dinner I walked to the academy and I flopped on Five's lap. He was reading a book.

"How was the dinner my love?"
I just shrugged my shoulders.
"That little bitch ruined it." I muttered.
"What?"
"Nothing!"
He brought me closer to him and make me look at him.
"Love I know your lying, what happened?"
I wanted to cry I can't tell him! What if he has the same reaction as Lizzie!

"Never mind, what's for dinner tonight?" I asked changing the subject. But knowing Five he wasn't gonna let me get away with this. He put the book down and lifted my chin.

"Darling now." He commented. Fuck I'm such a simp. My eyes started getting watery, Five gave me a worried look.
"Darling.." He whispered looking more worried.
"She yelled at me because...I-I'm non-binary!" I said fast then hid my face. It was quiet for a minute.

"Love what's non-binary?" Five asked, I looked at him crying.
"It means I don't feel like a girl or a boy..." I started crying more. He wiped my tears with his sleeves.
"Why are you crying?"
"Because your gonna break up with me."
He lightly chuckles.

"Why in the world would I break up with you? I'm so happy you found yourself. I don't care if your transgender or non-binary I will always love you and support you." He kissed my forehead.

"Really?"
"Of course love." He wiped my tears again and smiled.
"Are your pronouns they/them now?" He asked.
I nodded and he smiled.
"Do you have a new name?"
"(Y/n/n)" I said, He smirked and kissed my cheek.
"Such a beautiful name, who else knows?"
"Klaus and my friends."
"If she even makes fun of you or be rude to you, tell me and i'll kill her in her sleep." He Hugged me.

I laughed, "Thanks baby."
"No problem, tomorrow we are going shopping. Do you want new clothes?"
I nodded. "Yes please."
"Okay we will tomorrow, come on (Y/n/n) let's have some peanut butter marshmallow sandwiches to celebrate." He grabbed my hand and blinked down stairs.

"Hey love birds! What are y'all going?" Klaus says warming up spaghetti.
"Me and (Y/n/n) are going to eat." Five says getting out the bread.
"Oh that's n- WAIT (Y/N/N)?! AHH YOU TOLD HIM!!" Klaus said hugging me.
"Yes sir!" I said happy.
"MY BABY IS GROWING UP!"
I laughed, I love Five so much I honestly don't know what I would do without him.
