No one's POV:

"I hoped you all enjoyed you dinner, I understand it's New Year's eve and everyone is excited. But tomorrow we have training so no staying up tonight. Do you understand?"

"Yes father." All the children say sad and disappointed.
"Now children let's get ready for bed." Grace says, they all nodded heading upstairs. Unfortunately for the Umbrella Academy members their "father" wouldn't let them stay up on New Year's eve stupid right? But the eighth member of the academy, Y/n knew they weren't gonna let old Reggie stop them from having fun.

"You guys I have a plan." Y/n whispered to the others. "Huh what plan? Dad said we need to go to bed." Luther "number one" says. Typical he always tries to be dad's favorite.
"Luther learn to have fun!" Klaus says excited to hear about his best friend's plan.
"Okay so since it's 10:00  right now at 11:00, quietly walk over to my room and we will have a small party!" Y/n says everyone agrees but Luther of course.
"I'll get some snacks when Dad, Grace, and Pogo fall asleep." Y/n suggest. "I'll come with you." Fives says making any reason to hangout with his crush.
Y/n smiles, "Okay! Remember everyone meet at 11:00." Everyone nods and heads to there room.

A little later around 11:20 ish Y/n quietly gets out to bed.

Whoosh!
They turn around and jumps a little.
"I swear Five I'm never gonna get used to you blinking." Five chuckles, "Your so cute when your scared."
Y/b blushes, "Uh..let's get the snacks!" Five chuckles and he blinks both of them downstairs to the kitchen.
"What should we take up there?" Y/n whispers.
"Hmm oh Grace saved her cookies from yesterday remember?" Five whispered back.
"Oh right! Go get some of the cookies."
Five nods and began looking for the cookies and Y/n had other plans.
"Okay I got the coo- is that Champagne?!" Five whispered yelled. Y/n giggled and nods.

"Found dad's secret stash! We are gonna drink it when the clock strikes 12." Y/n gets some bread out and Five gets some peanut butter too. They made themselves peanut butter marshmallow sandwiches, crazy how only they liked it yet everyone else thought it was "gross." They go upstairs and set everything up. Finally it was exactly 11:00 and everyone came at the exact time.
"LET'S GET THIS PARTY-" Ben quickly puts his hand over Klaus's mouth. "Shh!"
"Oh right sorry.."

"Hey I brought my radio from my room so we can know when to count down." Vanya puts the radio on Y/n's nightstand, Diego quickly closed the door and the party began...

Y/n's POV:

Tonight was so fun nobody was getting into fights or yelling it was peaceful. Everyone was doing there own thing. Klaus and Diego were seeing who can put the most cookies in their mouth, Vanya and Ben were talking, Luther and Allison were also talking, and I was sitting on my bed just thinking about how my year was.

"Are you okay?" Five sits next to me.
"Huh? Sorry I was deep into thought I guess, excited for the new year?" He scoots closer to me. "Yup you?" I scoot closer to him. "Yeah." I blush.
Are shoulders are touching and we both smile at each other. "You know I wanted to tell you something." Five says, please say you like me.
"Andd what's that?" "Well I wanted to time travel for awhile now and I was wondering if you maybe wanted to go with me?"

"Wait why me?"
"Because.."
"20 seconds till New Years!" Klaus says in the background.
"Because what?"
"Because I care about you and I really like you Y/n."
"I like you too Five."
"No I mean I like like you. And I want you to come to the future with me.

"Are you sure you ready Five to time travel?"
"I think I am. I would never do anything to hurt you. So will you come?" He asks nervously.
"We'll if you say you're ready then I trust you. I would love to come with you." Five smiles and gets a little closer to me.

"10!"

"Oh and Five?"

"Yeah?" He asks, "I like you too." I blush. He smiled and starts to lean in.

I start to lean too, excited since this is my first kiss.

I felt his soft lips against mine, perfectly in sync so much love and passion.
"Happy New Years!!" Everyone yells.

Five and I separated and smiled at each other blushing. "Y/n? Will you date me?"
I smile and peck his lips. "I would love too."
We kiss one more time and join our the other as they pour champagne in the cups. We all cheered and drank it.
"So we saw that kiss Five and Y/n!" Allisons says wiggling her eyebrows.
"Are y-you guys o-official?" Diego asks.
Five puts his arm around my waist.
"Of course." He pecks me cheek. Best New Years ever!

"What is the meaning of all of this!" Dad says pissed.

"Shit!" We all said.
