"You're cheating."

"How am I cheating? Because I'm winning?"

"You're just cheating, I know you are!"

"You're spitting on me," I grumbled through a mouth full of scrambled eggs wiping away a piece of bacon from my face. We sat in Theo's truck playing Go Fish to pass time.

"Then don't cheat," Theo accused before swallowing his taco whole.

"Mason's on his way," Liam spoke from the backseat, hitting the end button on his phone. I nodded placing my cards down in the middle of our pile, finishing my breakfast.

"What an idiot," Theo mumbled still chewing his food. I rolled my eyes and checked my own device to see I had a message from my dad.

"My dad said Nolan's not talking, so he still has no idea where Jiang and Tierney are," I read off my phone.

Apparently the two werewolves had disappeared last night, with no trace on where they went.

"What if the hunter's got to them already?" Liam guessed. Before I could say anything, I see Lydia's corolla approaching us from behind, Mason coming to a stop.

The three of us get out of the truck approaching our friend from his driver's window.

"Hey," Liam and I greeted the boy who popped the trunk for us. "How close is he?"

"He's back down the road," Mason tilts his head slightly. "Don't look."

I hand Liam some sleeping bags, and pick up some food.

"Should I come with you guys?" Mase asked, hope in his voice.

"His friends shoot to kill," Theo spoke coming to my side, taking the food out of my hands. "Go home."

"Yeah, Lydia would kill me if anything happened to her car anyways, so..." Mason shrugged, obviously saddened he couldn't help.

"Don't worry about it," I assure our friend. "Nolan's gonna do the rest."

We set the stuff up in a small hide out, spreading out the sleeping bags as if we had been here. Once we were done, we made our way to the top of the zoo, over looking everything below us.

We crouch behind a rock and look below us seeing Nolan and two other guys talking.

"It's just Nolan and two other guys," I frowned. If we didn't get the rest of the hunter's here, Scott and the them won't be able to get into the warehouse.

"This isn't gonna work," Liam exhaled looking back at us.

"Where's the backup?" Theo questioned. "I mean, shouldn't there be, like, 10 of them?"

"I mean, they only saw us, and they're not gonna believe Nolan," I said totally convinced that I wouldn't believe him either. He's a weirdo. Liam and I look back down below.

"Okay," I hear Theo whisper. "Then they have to believe us."

I turn to look at him only for his spit to land on my face again. "Isn't that right!"

"Why are you yelling?" Liam whisper shouted.

"You got a problem?" Theo shouted waving his hand around. "Oh, that's right, you always have a problem!"

"What the hell are you doing?" I ask in a hush tone.

'They'll think the rest of us are up here if we start an argument and mention each other's names.'

"Shut up!"

I narrowed my eyes at him while Liam cocked his head back surprised at Theo's reaction.

'Don't ever tell me to shut up again.'
