I threw my last shirt into my bag zipping it up.
"How long do you think you'll be gone?" Liam asked sitting on my bed playing with the red sheets that covered it.
"I don't know babe, the whole day?" I guessed. "Probably not that long."
"I'll miss you," the beta pouted. I chuckled taking a seat next to him, pressing my lips against his. Before we could go any further, the footsteps of my brother approached.
He knocked softly before opening the door.
"You ready?" Scott asked holding onto the doorknob. I nodded getting up.
"Yeah, I'll be down in a sec."
Scott gently closed the door leaving Liam and me alone.
"I want to give you something before you go," Liam said while pulling a silver chain out of his pocket. The silver chain held his lacrosse number, #9.
"I know how upset you were when you lost your necklace, and I couldn't find it in the library, so I got you this."
My heart swelled at his mindfulness. I was so lucky to have someone who cares about me just as much as I care about them.
"Oh Liam," I whispered in awe. "Thank you."
He turned me around, placing the necklace on. I smile softly looking down at the charm.
"I was waiting for the right time to give it to you," he spoke softly. He pressed a firm kiss on my neck before spinning me back around.
"You're the best Dunbar," I mutter pulling him into a long passionate kiss. He smiled into it, until we heard the most annoying voice ever.
"Come on you, little runts!"
I roll my eyes pulling away from my boyfriend.
"I love you," he says staring into my dark eyes.
"I love you too."
We made our way downstairs, only to be greeted by the blue jeep's headlights.
"I'll miss you," I say as I entered the old ride.
"I'll miss you too," Liam frowned. He closed my door, backing up. Stiles began to back out and drove off.
We then stopped at a gas station to buy some food and water for the ride. As Stiles stopped, he and Scott turned to me.
"You know when we used to leave before going to save your little ass you never said you'll miss us," Stiles snarked.
"Or "I love you," Scott added. I narrowed my eyes at them before saying,
"You two are the most dramatic boobs I've ever met."

The first few hours were a bore, I, of course, entertaining myself by annoying Stiles.
"I think I wanna cut my hair off," I thought out loud as I read a magazine.
"To be completely honest, I don't think short hair will suit you," Stiles commented.
"Didn't suit you either, but we all like to experiment don't we?" I fire back referring to his buzzcut phase. My best friend glared at me through the review mirror. It was starting to get hot in here all of a sudden, making me tie my hair up.
