There was no trace of Corey or Mason, nothing.

"I'm gonna get Scott home in one piece," I exhale as Kira got my brother in her red vehicle. "Are you coming over?"

Liam sighs, sadness and anger radiating off of him.

"Liam, talk to me baby," I whisper resting my hand upon his shoulder.

"I just want to find and help Mason," he admits.

"I know you do," I exhale moving my hand up to caress his face.

His hands rest on the small of my back.

"But right now Corey is gonna hide him somewhere we won't be able to find him," I explain.

"I know," he sighs leaning into my hand kissing my palm tenderly.

"Come over and we can talk about a game plan," I offer.

The sad beta looks up at me nodding giving in to the offer. Our hands intertwine and we get into Erik's truck.

I climb in the back with Liam so he wouldn't be alone. Erik sat in the driver's seat setting the gear shift in drive.

Before Erik began driving, he turned around to face us specifically looking at my boyfriend.

"We're gonna find Mason, and we're gonna save him," Erik promises.

We nod at his words believing them. The ride home was silent until we got home. As the three of us made it up the stairs, Stiles, Malia, and Braeden stood around Scott's door.

"What? What did I do?" Stiles asked as we reached the top.

"Tell him," Braeden encourages Malia.

"What's going on?" I ask approaching the pack.

"You know how my mother wants to kill me? I think she might want to kill you too."

I gap staring back at the scrawny helpless boy next to me.

"Okay, uh, that's disconcerting," Stiles unsurely responds. "I should probably have a gun."

"I'm not giving you a gun," Braeden bluntly states.

"You have a gun," he points out. "The Desert Wolf who is trying to kill me has a gun. I think I should probably have a gun."

Erik sighs loudly muttering, "he's going to shoot one of us," and enters his room.

Liam and I stare inventively as Braeden hands Stiles a gun. Before he could grab it he fumbles with the weapon almost dropping it till my reflexes came over me and caught it.

"I probably shouldn't have a gun."

Gently I hand Braeden her gun back and make my way to my room tugging Liam along with me. Removing my leather jacket, I tossed it on the bean bag that sat in the corner of my room.

"Shower?" I suggested to Liam who sat on the bed.

"Definitely."

We take a quick hot shower due to it being so late and we just wanted at least a little bit of sleep. Brushing my hair out, Liam brushed his teeth. Suddenly he stared down at the sink setting his toothbrush down.
