"Na Daeman-shi. How was it? Your date?" Donghyuck get off from the kitchen counter with a mouthful of ice-cream. His right hand on a spoon which is in his mouth as he speak. The left hand hugging the ice-cream tub.

Jaemin plop himself on the living room couch. He smiles and suddenly laughing like a high school girl in love. "It was amazing." He beamed.

Donghyuck sat himself beside his best friend. He smiled fondly at the alpha. Finally. After so many years, the alpha finally let himself be free from his condition and trying the love.

Though it hard to convince the alpha, Donghyuck still proud of it that Jaemin make it though at last. Letting his pretty little head occupied with Renjun. And sometimes Jeno. Not his body condition and insecurities.

"You and Jeno didn't fight today?" he asked.

The brown haired alpha shake his head. But then pondered a bit. "We did actually. On the way home. We fought a little. He said that he wasn't sure to share Renjun with me." he let out a big sigh.

"So what did you said to him?" Donghyuck stop eating his ice-cream. He put it on the coffee table.

He took a deep breath and let out heavily. "I said I was too. But looking at Renjun, I know that he is too eager to continue this. I don't have the heart to let him down. And I already start to develop feelings for him. And with that, I don't wanna give up on him. He said he's the same. And sadly, we argued after that."

"Do you think this is gonna work? The thing that we have now?" Jeno ask after dropping Renjun to his house.

Jaemin just hummed. Not knowing how to answer.

"Answer me seriously Na Jaemin." Jeno demanded.

Sighed. "I honestly don't know Lee Jeno. We both still unsure if we can keep on with this. We both know it but Renjun keep linking us together. It hard to refuse him." he paused. "And I like him. No, scratch that. I started to love him from the start. From the moment I laid my eyes on him. Remember when I talked about soulmate 2 months ago? I feel that connection with him. I just knew he is my mate. So I won't give him up." He sound like a warning but deep down, he just wanted to tell Jeno the truth keep bottling him.

"So do I. I did my own research about this. And it's true. There exist the destined mate. And to be truth, I did feel the same with him. And I do started to open up with him." he turned to Jaemin. "But you said you had connection with him. what do you mean? I thought I was the one?" he frowned a bit too hard.

Jaemin stare at the road blankly. He pulled over at the side of the road. And he switch his position to look at Jeno. "And what do YOU mean Lee Jeno? It can't be it. one doesn't have two soulmates link to a person. It's impossible."

Jeno and Jaemin pondered a bit. The both of them stay silent for a couple of minute before anyone start to speak. And suddenly, an idea flash through his brain.

This time, it's Jeno's turn to sigh. "It maybe possible." He paused before continuing "Remember our matchmaker? Taeyong and Kun? Their situation with Doyoung? Renjun's boss? Taeyong and Doyoung also actually soulmate and destined together. And the link is Kun. I don't know how it work. But it just it. They knew it after forming a bond with each other and consult a doctor. Because most of alphas that form mate together will end up burn on their marks, but Doyoung and Taeyong's mark is fine and like any normal marks. That's just show their strong connection towards each other."

"How do you know all of this?"

"One of my cousin's boyfriend tell me about this. And apparently, he is the doctor that Doyoung, Taeyong and Kun consult. (wow, what are the odds~) And I did my study Jaemin. But we aren't them. You and I, we didn't love each other. We aren't it." Jeno slump his body on the shotgun's seat.

"You don't know about that." Jaemin muttered but it go unnoticed by the older alpha. He frowned at Jeno.

"What the hell did you do and where the hell did you go, huh? Answer me Huang Renjun?" a loud voice from a middle age woman heard from across the room.

"Why do you care? Why you want to know? It doesn't have anything to do with you." Renjun fought back. He almost scream at the woman but he held back his anger.

Jisung staring furiously at the woman. Clenching his fist till his knuckles turn white.

The woman scoff. "I need to know because I AM YOUR MOTHER. I have to know."

"Suddenly? Why now? Why won't you admit that YOU ARE MY MOTHER 11 years ago?! And now when I finally trying to settle down, date someone, you suddenly shove your face and up to my asses?" he yelled back. This time, he won't hold it in.

Huang Daiyu frowned. Her face turn white as she clench her teeth together making her jaw almost shattered. "Don't you dare Renjun. What about your son? What do they said about him? do they even know about him? don't you remember Lu Fen that left you when you talked to him about your son? Doyoung? Saying he is afraid that to take of other people's son. Have forgotten about it? Don't make me laugh Renjun. I know it from the moment I saw them smiling at you, they clearly didn't know about your son and your past. And you claimed to be dating them? Honesty and communication is what make your relationship go stronger. But you have none of that. After all that happened, you chickened out to tell them the truth. YOU Huang Renjun are a coward. You should've abort from the start. But no. you being the 'responsible adult' he is keeping the bastard's son when you yourself are an utter coward," She spat all of her thought at once.

Renjun was hurt from his mother's words. Apart of him want to deny all of those insults, but deep down, he knows that it the truth. He almost teared up but he clench his jaw harder. "Don't speak like you know me Mrs Huang. I know you are ashamed of me. I'm the embarrassment of our family. You said honesty and communication? But yours wasn't going that strong either. Where's father in all this? Where is he? You failed to keep him and now you want to utter this insult to me? About my son, I know what I'm doing. I don't need you to tell me what to do. You, who is inhuman and incapable of love. Don't you dare tell me I'm wrong to keep Soobin!"

"So do you Huang Renjun. You are my son. You too incapable of love. We both know it. my blood run in you. Our blood only care for our own benefit. Not others." She smirk at Renjun.

Jisung had enough with all this fighting and insults being thrown at his brother. He step up in front of the elder and push her towards the door. And of course, Daiyu yelled and tried to beat Jisung. But the younger alpha is now no longer the weak he is before. He quickly hold the woman's hands making her hard to beat Jisung. He push her to the door until she is left outside.

"Don't come here near us any longer. You don't deserve to be called a mother." He spat and close the door.

Daiyu banging the door so hard that could possibly breaking the door. But her strength wasn't enough to break the hard door.

The younger alpha walk to his crying brother. He wailed so hard that making the younger's heart broke. He wish to take all of his brother's pain away and buried it somewhere they won't find.

Oh how he wish he could do that and make his one and only brother happy again like the good old time.

"It's okay hyung, I'm here," he said while rubbing and patting the older in his hug.
