so today, i promise you an update for like 3 or 4 chapters. whichever i think is good.

After the sudden visit of Daiyu, it's been a whole week Renjun kept himself locked in his room. He won't eat and talk. Nor do he want to do anything. All he want is his space and place to cry over his poor and sad fate.

And in the one week, Jaemin and Jeno constantly calling him to get through him. but he rejected all the calls and smash his phone. He don't want to hear or listen to anything. Even if they knocked on his bedroom's door, hoping the older would let them meet him, he still shut himself in. They would try to soften his heart and calm him whenever they heard him wailing and yelling inside. Truth to be told, it broke their hearts so much and wish nothing but the older to let them in. Jisung won't tell a damn thing only letting them in to somehow become his brother's strength but to no avail.

Lucas and Xiaojun would pay a visit. Lucas cried, pleading the younger to open the door for him. Xiaojun would try to persuade him by cooking his most favorite food. But he rejected all of it.

Mark and Hendery tried everything they could to get a hold of Renjun. Hendery repeating words of comfort to let the omega know, they are with him through and through. Mark will occasionally add a few saying Renjun wasn't a mistake. He is a pride and joy for the family.

And Jisung. Poor boy need his brother. When the first day Renjun lock himself up. The poor boy frantically yelling and calling his brother. He had a slight panic attack and almost pass out. But luckily Lucas and Hendery saw him vibrating, panting for air on the floor.

As for Soobin, the family would visit him whenever they had time for it. Chenle, Irene and Jinyoung would pay a visit and take care of him. Times when the boy questions the adult is what making all of them lost of words. The guilty of lying creep in them.

"Where's Baba?" the boy ask Jisung and Lucas who's caressing his plump cheek.

Jisung swallowed the saliva harshly. He seriously don't know what to say to the boy.

"Baba is working hard right now. So he is busy for a while. Will Soobin be a good boy and wait for Baba?" Lucas smiled fondly as he utter lies to the boy.

"I will! I want to be a good boy for Baba." The boy exclaim. Making both adults drop their eyes and shoulder. Feeling guilty.

Soobin, as always. He played on the hospital's park with Yeri. He is beyond happy when Irene take them out to play. They played catching ball (the baseball thing, idk what it's called) with Jinyoung. Soobin the one throwing the ball, Yeri and Joy would catch the ball and vice versa.

"Kids," Irene called for the trio making they look at her. "We have an event today. Let get inside now, shall we?" she said while walking to them.

Jinyoung stand from his sit and slightly brush off any dirts on him. he then start to push Soobin's wheelchair to bring him at the hospital auditorium.

In the auditorium, kids been jumping and all flailing on their seats. They chat and laugh over their own silly jokes. Soobin beam when he saw his newest friend that he made in the hospital, Emily (that's me yeahh. So why not?). She's been admitted for 2 days in the same ward with him and Yeri.

"Emily!" he called at the older.

The eyes from the older's looks lifeless and emotionless. But that doesn't mean Soobin and Yeri want to give up on her. Instead, they pull her closer to them.

"Sit here with us," Yeri exclaim. Pulling the girl beside her making her in the middle of the pair. Emily just let Yeri do whatever she want to her. She could careless.

"I can't wait to listen to this new book. They said that the author is a good looking alpha. I want to meet him faster." Yeri whisper yelled at Emily and Soobin. Soobin nodded and smiled fondly at Yeri while Emily just stare at the stage. She knows who'll be the on the stage later, but it didn't catch her attention enough.

Irene look at the trio and smile sadly at Emily. Ever since the girl admitted in the hospital, never once did she see her smile. It making her wonder, what have happened to her making the young girl doesn't have the will to smile.

"Emily," she called while passing a pack of cinnamon rolls to her. "Here, eat this."

The young girl took it gladly and munch on the cinnamon rolls. Yeri and Soobin look at Irene for their portion which Irene just playfully snickered. "Both of you have eaten. So there's no more left."

Hearing that, the pair look dejected and being all pouty. Which actually kinda cute in Irene eyes. Jinyoung laugh beside them while Joy just playing with her phone.

"Honey, don't tease them like that." Jinyoung linking their hands together.

"But it cute." Irene trying to defend herself. Jinyoung rolled his eyes while Irene just laugh.

Shocking to them, Emily, the girl who didn't smile sudden shove two piece of cinnamon rolls to Soobin and Yeri. "Here," she muttered.

Beamed, Soobin and Yeri pulled the older for a hug. "Thank you." The youngers exclaim and munch their own share of cinnamon rolls.

Irene widen her eyes, so does Jinyoung. The parents are shocked at Emily's action and quick to put on a proud smile on them. Their heart go soft as they watch the kids sharing their pieces of food together.

"She'll get through this. Whatever happened to her. She'll be fine in here." Jinyoung kiss his wife's knuckles. The wife nodded and continue smiling while waiting for the event to start.

"Am I seriously gonna read on the stage?" Jeno asked Jaemin furiously. He wasn't fond of the idea reading stories to bunch of kids that he didn't even know.

Jaemin rolled his eyes. For the nth time already today, Jaemin has persuade the older to read the story book for the kids. He starting to get annoyed.

"Oh come on Nono, just fucking read!" Donghyuck sassed at Jeno. Well, he had all right to get mad. He literally got drag by his best friend and his best friend's boyfriend to the hospital. Oh how he wish he could continue his day by have a date with and alpha called Yangyang. But no, both Jaemin and Jeno had to ruin it.

Jeno glared at Donghyuck. Over the week of Renjun's absence, Jeno getting to know Jaemin even more as both of them suffered from Renjun's sudden action of cutting them off. And things between them that they wish to tell Renjun but the older wasn't there for them to tell.

They are honestly sad, and maybe beyond devastated. They tried to call Jisung, but the boy could only cry without giving a proper answer. When they went to Renjun's house, the man refuse to open the door and stay locked.

Both of them at lost and only wish to see their omega. And Yes, their own omega.
