Today is getting better for Jaemin, especially after his omega little breakdown. While his rut approaching, Jaemin keep working to let the void in his heart be filled with something. Because both of the alphas still hasn't clearing something to Renjun. Like how they treat each other wasn't like how it is before, because obviously they are dating each other without Renjun knowing. It somehow doesn't sit right for Jaemin

When Renjun ask about it, they avoid it like it some sort of taboo. Was it a secret between alphas that Renjun shouldn't know? Well, it simply because they want to confirm Renjun's feeling for them first, after that they want to propose him being their boyfriend and mate. Maybe being their mate is too soon. He just shrug the thought away.

Because today is where Jaemin and Jeno will invite him to a ball where all businessmen or businesswomen assemble (NCT assemble) and mingling with each other. He is curious of the way they work and talk. Plus, he could create a bond or friendship with them to help him in the future.

He clean all papers on the table, closing each files and stack them back to their own rightful place. After closing the computer, he step outside from his office. He look at his secretary a.k.a. best friend, Donghyuck.

"Hyuck, I'm going to get Junie. Will you be fine to go alone there?" he ask at the still typing on the computer beta.

"I'm fine I'm fine. Just go with your dates. Yangyang will fetch me later." Donghyuck rolled his eyes knowing how bothersome Jaemin is whenever he's feeling guilty of leaving his best friend.

"Okay then, hope you'll enjoy your date. See you later, tonight." He waltz away and take a lift to the basement where his car is.

"Hyung, can you pick Soobin from the hospital? Today is his day out after 3 months of treatment. But I have an important event come along. I would really love to pick him, but I'll be late to do it. Jisung have a tutor today, so he can't. MarkHen and LuXiao also attending the same event. I know you won't be attending because I literally replacing you just for you to be with Kun ge. Please hyung," Renjun beg the older with his two palms cross together, looking at the older with his puppy sad eyes.

Doyoung groan. Knowing this Renjun, he couldn't say no to this poor boy. So he did the best thing he can, he nodded and shooed him away. "Go now. I promise to pick Soobin and send him to Jisung. Don't worry your pretty little brain."

"Is that your way of telling me I'm dumb?" Renjun frowned as he huffed after getting kick out from the older's office. Rude much.

Grimace, he wish to smack the back of the omega's head but he keep it in. knowing how whiny and sensitive Renjun is. "Whatever you wish to think about. Now shoo. Go get yourself ready or something."

Before closing the door, he called the younger to ask something that he wish Renjun being honest for. "Jun," he receive a hum, letting him continue. "Do they know? About Soobin?"

The younger turn frozen at the question. He look at his feet feeling guilty and shook his head softly.

Understand at the tight spot he put the younger through, he just nodded and let the man be. Knowing too well how guilty Renjun feel that it keep eating him from inside.
