"I heard about Emily. Is there anything I could do ge?" Renjun ask Sicheng who sitting beside him on a bench at a park near the couple's house, watching their kids playing with Jaehyun.

Sicheng just shake his head and smile. He inhaled his breath shakily, "Nothing Jun. We are fine. We know it'll happen sooner or later and we're prepared for it." he look at the younger omega. "Just, just protect Soobin for Emi's sake. She love the boy so much like her own brother."

It easy to say a word of comfort for a parent that will lose their child soon. Because we aren't in the place of them. But for Renjun, who has been fight for Soobin's life for years, sometimes alone without a partner, he knows what it feels like. The fear of loosing his beloved son will give him so much pain than any other pain he ever experienced in life.

He watch Soobin tried to jog a little to Emily and Yeonjun, Emily's twin who's a tough young man that always beside his sister. Soobin tried to sit beside Emily but Yeonjun glare at the younger making him whimper a bit and just sit apart from Emily who's giggling over the two boys silly laugh.

They watch her with a fond smile plastered on their face. God she's so cute giggling all pretty like that like it worth a laugh for their silly behavior (a/n: lemme have my moment). Yeonjun smack her shoulder to make her stop giggle and continue to play with him on their video game.

"Come on Em, let's play. Don't just laugh at whatever." He said and tug the sister closer to him. making her even far from frowning Soobin.

The boy pout even harder as Emily is now stick so close to Yeonjun. "Not fair! I want to play with her too~" the boy whine.

Yeonjun look at Soobin with his left brow lift, disgust on his face "Who are you little boy? Why are you even here?"

Emily frown and slap the boy's head. Not having what Yeonjun said to Soobin, she get mad for her brother's rude behavior. "Be nice Jun. Soobin is my friend. So he is your friend too." She said and pull Soobin closer to her almost making Soobin thought he should sit on her lap but earn a growl from Yeonjun.

If you ask where Jaehyun is. Well, as an only adult with the trio, Jaehyun decide not to meddle with their affair and just sit in front of them while they bicker with each other. Just letting them mingling and bonding through the harsh words they spew. Because it'll get them even more closer, just like how he get Sicheng as his when he tried to court the younger. And all of this is just his own opinion.

Renjun watching them with a smirk on his face. he knows how sulky and grumpy Soobin could get. But Soobin being patient with Yeonjun's sassiness and possessive behavior is something he didn't want to miss out.

"I wish Soobin could still visit even if-if," Sicheng didn't get to finish the words as he sob silently in between his hands. Renjun hug the older's shoulder and hush him, saying he'll always do that and promise him for better.

It truly broke his heart, but what can he do? The illness is cureless. If the patient is getting healthier, then it's a miracle. But if it not, it's just fate being cruel for not showing any miracle for everybody.
