Chapter 13: The boggart
I woke up the next day, rushed to the bathroom, took a bath and put my hair in a messy bun and woke the girls who were surprised that I was the doing that not Hermione

I took breakfast quickly and walked to class with my brother, Ron and Finn
We entered the classroom filled with students from all the houses
That means another class with Malfoy and his gang

"Good morning professor Lupin" everyone turned their head at my direction
"Good morning Anna" he smiled
I stood in the middle of the crowd listening carefully to Professor Lupin
"That's a boggart"
"Very good Mr. Thomas, now can anyone tell me what a Boggart is" I raised my hand but Hermione was faster. When did she even got here
"No one knows. Boggarts are shapeshifters-"
"Thank you, Miss Granger, Anna can you continue" he said with a smile
"Boggarts are shapeshifters, they take the shape whatever particular person fears the most. That's what makes them so terrifying"
"Yes, yes, very good. Luckily, a very simple charm exists to repel a Boggart. Let's practice it now. Without wands please. After me. Ridikulus"
"Ridikulus"
"Very good, a lit bit louder, very clear, listen, Ridikulus"
"Ridikulus"
"This class is ridiculous" Malfoy commented as me and Finn glared at him
"Very good, well so much for the easy part, you see the incantation alone is not enough, what really finishes our Boggart is laughter. You need to force it to assume a shape you find truly amusing. Let me explain, uh, Neville could you join me please" Neville hesitated for a second then professor Lupin continued "Come on, don't be shy"
I must say, I'm excited for this class. I'm excited to see what everyone fear the most. What could stupid Parkinson fears or even Malfoy
And then it hit me
Fear
What was my fear and do I even want that the whole class to see it
I must say that I want to know what it is so I took some steps back with Finn beside me
"- professor Snape" Neville said shaking and the whole class burst in laughter
"Professor Snape, frightened as always. And I believe you live with your grandmother"
"Y-yes, but I don't want that Boggart to turn into her either"
"No" Professor Lupin said shaking his head "It won't, I want you to picture her clothes, only her clothes very clearly in your mind"
"She carried a red handbag-"
"We don't need to hear, as long as you see it we'll see it. Now when I open that wardrobe, here's what I want you to do" He whispered something to Neville than continued "Can you do that. Wand at the ready. One, two, three"
And with that he opened the wardrobe's door and the fake Snape start walking towards Neville
"Ridikulus"
Snape was now wearing a green shirt with a red handbag and a hat that have an eagle on it
I couldn't do anything other than laugh with everyone
