CHAPTER 20

Chapter 20: First Christmas at Hogwarts

The snow rested upon the big field as if it were a feather cushion, soft and warm. It covered the rich, deep Forbidden Forest in perfect white

I was admiring the view of the snow falling and dancing with the wind when Hermione woke up and wished me a merry Christmas then went to the bathroom

To my surprise, the bed was filled with unopened presents from my friend

But all I could think about was Sirius Black

And Why he did what he did

Why he betrayed them. Like they didn't hurt him so why would he do that to his friend, his friend who put him a godfather to his son

To be honest, I don't even know what to believe or not

And this is one of them

I decide to forget about Sirius Black and have fun on Christmas day

I went and start opening my numerous presents

I'm not used to that at all

I sat on the edge of my bed and opened them

I got a romance muggle book from Harry, Hogwarts: A History from Hermione, candies from Ron, prank items from George and Fred that I really liked, a little perfume from Ginny, a black robe with snow on it from Finn even tho he knows that I hate dresses but he said I look hot with one so I'll wear it just for him to shut up, a red sweater with an 'A' on it from Mrs. Weasley, some socks from Dobby, the house elf I met last year, I have no idea why he got me these but thanks Dobby, 20 dollars from the Dursleys... well at least they thought about me and that's the most important, some owl food and a book about creatures from Hagrid, and a hat from a Slytherin girl named Helen whom I met during Potions and was so sweet and caring, we even invited her to sit with us at the Three Broomsticks and we enjoyed her presence so much, especially Finn

But there was also three anonymous gifts

I opened the first one

It was a watch. A male one

I'm sure it came for the wrong person as I am a girl of course or something but also there was a little note with it

This was your father's. You don't have to wear it, just keep it with you and take care of it. He wanted you to have it at any cost. He wanted his girl, Anna, to have it and to always remember him knowing that at the end, when the right time comes, they will see each other again. She just needs to be patient and wait for the time to pass

P? do I even know people with a P in their name. okay for sure it's not Pansy Parkinson

From who this is

I don't care now about that

I took the watch and admire it

It's beautiful

I read the deep note and again, pressed the watch against my chest and start crying

It was the only thing I have from my father

I wiped my tears and put the watch away for me for a bit knowing that I will for sure continue crying till my eyes bleed

The second one was a diary

Is it from Professor Lupin

He is the only one beside Harry who knows that I have a diary

Maybe I'll ask him later

The last box was black with a green ribbon

Interesting

I opened it and gasped when I saw what was inside

A silver bracelet with a little serpent on it

This cost a fortune

Well, well Anna, you have some Slytherin fans

Not surprised actually

I'm attractive what can you say

I admired it for a few seconds then put it on

I put my hair into a messy bun, wore the sweater that Mrs. Weasley made and went to the Great Hall that was decorated with some beautiful stars, candles, a big Christmas tree in the middle of the Hall and lots of other decoration

I wished everyone a merry Christmas and sat with them

I spend the rest of my day in the library reading then had a snowball fight with George, Fred, Ginny, Finn and Helen

At night I decided to go and sit with Harry in front of the fire place of the common room and talked. I told him about the watch who he loved so much and asked me if he can wear it and I of course said no. I have to take care of it like this mysterious P told me.

We spoke for hours until we both fall asleep on the couch

I'M LITERALLY IN LOVE WITH THIS CHAPTER, first coz it's abt Christmas, who doesn't like Christmas and second is because i just love it 

AND, ANDDDD, we met one of the most amazing characters, Helen, who will be so much in the story and is just amazing
