I don't own Percy Jackson or Avengers
Cassie POV
I burst into existence again, in the middle of camp. I run after Chiron, at top speed. "Stop! The Avengers just captured the Seven and the Norse guests! And Nico!", I cry, hoping he hears. "Candy Benson! What just happened to the Seven?", Mr D yells. That's what he calls me. Candy. Ugh.
"We have to rescue them before it's too late! They'll be taken to the Raft in a few hours, and then not only will they be in an impenetrable prison, the world will know about the demigods! I don't even know what tortures they use there! We must save them, and fast! And Riptide and everything else they carried will be locked away!", I say, already forming a strike plan.
"How do you know this?", Chiron says. "I was there! I was with the Avengers when it happened! My first mission was betraying my friends, and I didn't even know it!", I cry, tears blocking my vision.
"We must do something immediately. Gather everyone you think can help. If everything truly was locked away, it is imperative that you collect Hearthstone's runes. They are in a small leather pouch. There is no other way that many people can be teleported away. I give you permission if necessary to reveal the demigod world to them, as long as you make them swear on the Styx to keep it secret. You will need someone skilled with the Mist to get them to believe you. I suggest taking Lou Ellen.", Chiron says.
I run to Lia, grabbing her as well as Violet, explaining on the run. Violet may not look like much, but she can create mirages and other illusions that are visible to mortals because of her parentage. And as for Lia, she has steel tipped crossbow bolts and years of training to injure, not kill, in Capture the Flag. I take Will as well, because Nico is in danger, and both Lou Ellen and Olivia. I have Butch to fly the chariot, so we get going.
We're armed with Greek Fire and many other weapons, and the rage of a thousand suns for taking our friends and heroes. Besides, nobody hurts TJ and gets away with it. So, small leather pouch, find it. Got it. The chariot flys with my directions, and we hover outside my window. I light travel in, turn off the alarm, and open my window. The rest climb through.
My friends are going to distract the team while I free the prisoners and get all their stuff. I casually light travel into the vault, grabbing the runestone bag, Riptide the pen, Jack the pendant, and everyone else's weapons. The second I free these guys, the fight is on. I don't think they've told Fury yet. They've been waiting for me. I don't have much time before he does.
My next stop is the cell. There's only a few, and the cells are large, so they're all in one cell. Convenient for me, that's for sure. One problem, they're in power draining cuffs. The unlock code is easy if you learn it, and learn it I did. I go as fast as I can, until everyone is out of the cuffs I then unlock the door, letting everyone out. "Is anyone else here!", Nico asks. "Will and the rest of our friends! Come on, we gotta get them! Hearthstone, get us out of here once we find them!", I say, facing the elf.
We get out there to utter chaos. My friends have done a damn good job of keeping the Avengers at bay. The cold fury in Olivia's eyes is enough to send chills down my spine, and I'm not even the target of her terror. Tony is running in circles. I don't know what he's seeming, but it must be terrible. Lia is shooting her crossbow at everyone, bolts stick it of the wall and in people's legs and arms. But, before we can do anything, we're trapped in a net, and the runes drop to the floor. Nico grabs Will, Hazel, Alex, and TJ, and they escape. The rest of us aren't so lucky.
"Explain yourself, Cass. Now.", Natasha says, in a threatening tone. Olivia is still focusing on making Tony run in circles. I don't think she's gonna stop soon. "These are my friends, and they weren't trying to hurt anyone. You used to be an agent, someone who knew when someone was lying, don't you know I am telling the truth?", I implore her.
