A trip to the Bahamas

Chapter 8 "What could go wrong?"

Surfing was not that bad at all

probably because the love of my life ADRIEN was holding me as we surfed.

I think i can actually surf on my own now.

"Hey adrien?" i ask as he is still holding me.

"Yeah bugaboo?" he says.

"Bugaboo? when was that a thing?!" i half blush half laugh.

"Since now" he laughs.

"Alright then, can i call you bugaboy?" i chuckle.

"Ew no thats just cringey!" he says.

"Yeah and bugaboo isint cringey.." i roll my eyes.

"Anyways i think i can surf on my own now!" i ask him.

"Ya sure mari!?" he says.

"Yeah so you can let go of me now!" i say.

"Okay.." he says as he lets go of me.

The wave lands down as the water chills.

"Okay this is my stop, i'll be watching you surf now k?" he asks as he gets off the surfboard and swims to the shore.

"okay!" i wave as i see him swim away.

I start paddling the way he had just taught me, the way i had observed him surf.

I look back to see him giving me a thumb's up as he drinks a smoothie.

I wave at him to see him pointing to look behind me as i see a wave coming in.

I start heading towards it while still sitting on the board.

I get the courage to stand up and stretch my arms out for balance.

"YOU'RE DOING GREAT MARI!" i hear adrien say as he cheers me on.

"THANKS!" i shout.

I notice i've started loosing balance as the wave has gotten larger and larger.

"EVERYONE OFF THE WATER, WAVES ARE TOO STRONG!" i hear a lifeguard shout.

i hear a couple screams unknowing they were to me.

"MARINETTE GET OUTTA THERE GIRL!"

"DUDE LEAVE THE WAVE'S TOO STRONG FOR YA!"

"MARINETTE! MARINETTE GET OUT OF THERE!"

screams and shouts have been heard and i still dont know what they were saying.

"WHAT I CANT HEAR YOU WHAT ARE YOU SAYING?! WOAH!" i shout as the wave falls all the way ontop of me.

i feel myself go down underwater, watching as the surfboard floats ontop above me.

i hold my breath tight as i blow bubbles out of my nose.

it gets harder and harder to breath as i try to swim up to the surfboard.

i hold onto it and scream as much as i can.

"HELP HELP!" " I- I CANT!" i fall back in.

"I CANT SWIMM!!!!!!!" i scream as loud as i can.

i feel the surfboard slip out of my grasp as a wvae pulls it away.

"NO!" i shout as i am now falling up and down in the water.

i cat do it, i cant swim the only thing that comes to mind, last thing.

"ADRIEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!" i scream at the top of my throat.

a wave hits me and pushes me down into the water.
