Taming the king

Chapter 2

Fionna pov

I felt like I was floating. My head felt fuzzy and a cackling laugh could be heard.

"I can't believe I got her that easily. Well with her out of the picture their will be nothing that stands inbetween me and my Gumball."

I knew that voice seriously how did I get captured by ice queen. That's a bit embarrassing. I rubbed my eyes and opened them. she was floating not to far above the ground. I jumped off.

"When did you wake up!"

Ignoring her I punched her in the jaw.

"Things were so much easier when you were asleep."

After a few minutes of this she was flying away beaten. I looked around to see where I was and to my surprise I was near the dark forest.
I did have my retractable sword on me. And cake wasn't with me so its not like she could tell me not to. I decided why not and decided to explore it.The only down side to exploring it now was that I was in a dress.
I walked sword in hand into the dark forest. It was actually pretty normal and I was beginning to get disappointed when I heard something whispered in my ear.
"You better run before I catch you."
I turned around ready to fight whatever had said that, but there was nothing there. I kept walking going a little faster now.
"Didn't you hear my warning. I told you to run."
I couldn't see anything.
"If you don't run away I might just have to drink that sweet spelling blood of yours."
I was starting to pick up the pace practically running. Usually I wouldn't get even the slightest bit scared but I couldn't see him anywhere and it was a bit unnerving.
"Boo!"
I jumped and punched the face that appeared right in front of mine.
"Oww'
A guy with pale skin,black hair and red eyes was suddenly in front of me. And I happened to notice he had fangs from the smirk he was giving me.
"I was just joking about drinking your blood but since you punched me."
Before I could move he had me pinned up against a tree. How was he so fast. I tried moving a bit but he was really strong.
He bent his head down to my neck. I struggled but it didn't do me any good. I felt his lips on my neck and right when I thought he was going to bite me. I felt him kiss my neck instead and then start laughing.
"You should have seen your face."
I pushed away "What the heck man!"
"Relax princess I don't drink blood. well I can but its the color I like."
"Don't call me that!'
"But isn't that what you are now." he said pulling the tiara off my head.
"I didn't ask to be and hey give that back." I said reaching for it but he just flew higher when I jumped.
"Then what should I call you."
"How about my name."
"Nah I don't feel like calling you Fionna. I could call you Fi or blue."
How did he know my name I wondered.
"My names Marshall lee the vampire king."
I tried reaching for the tiara again but failed. I ran up the tree that he was hovering in front of and did a back flip off it landing on him.
This seemed to shock him for a minute. I grabbed the tiara and right as I was about to jump off he started to float higher.
I shoved the tiara in my small bag and considered jumping anyway, but it was getting to high. feeling like I was going to fall off I clung to him.
"Someone's a little forward."
"Ugh you! This is your fault you know."
" Your the one who jumped on me."
"Because you took the tiara from me."
"What's so special about it anyway. You just got it."
"Gumball would probably feel hurt if I lost it."
"You sound like you like him."
I blushed a bit "Do not ! now let me down already or I swear I'll jump."
"You would break you leg if you tried."
"I've done riskier stuff before." I said and started to go for it anyway. I mean the tops of the trees were only five maybe six feet away right. If I could manage to grab a branch I would be fine right?
But his arms wrapped around me tightly preventing me from doing so. It felt different I couldn't figure out why though.
"Don't be stupid. You could seriously hurt yourself. " he said.
It was weird he sounded like he cared a bit there. Wasn't he just threatening to suck my blood.
He started to float back down to the ground and let go of me then. I was about to say something back to him but he just said later blue and flew off.
I decided not to dwell on the fact that the weird feeling he gave me left as soon as he let go of me and decided to go back home.
