0.9: School?

Me and Jake were still playing video games and we totally lost track of time. Ashley and dad came down stairs.

"You guys are still playing?!" Dad asked, his voice cracking a little.

"Yeah it's not like we stayed up all night."

"Well you did. Look what time it is." Ashley motioned towards my phone. I checked and he was right.

"Holy seagulls!!" I shouted. "Jake we really played video games all night." He nodded.

"Holy seagulls?"

"Yup and you have yet to beat me." He said trying to rub his victory in my face.

"Oh bite me." He rolled his eyes and looked back at the screen. "Don't you sass me Pitts!" I jumped on his back making him fall forward.

"GAH!!" He flattened out on his stomach and I sat in his back. "Please get off of me." His hair was messed up and all in his face. I laughed and got up, helping him up with me.

"How are you not tired? Like seriously you were here since like ten thirty and it's almost eleven o'clock." I shrugged.

"I never really got any sleep that much at the orphanage so I kinda got used to it." I sat down onto the couch.

"Why don't you go get some sleep then?" Dad asked.

"Because I'm not that tired."

"Well fine then let's go get some food." He picked me up and throwing me over his shoulder.

"But I'm not hungry." He tossed me down onto a barstool which almost tipped over.

"You're going to eat Lyric." He said sternly.

"Noooo." I laid my head down on the counter.

"You're going to eat!! I will fucking force feed you if I have to."

"But I don't wanna eat."

"JINXX!!" Dad yelled up the stairs. "I NEED YOUR HELP!!" A couple moments later a very pissed off Jinxx came down the stairs.

"Dude why the fuck are you waking me up?"

"I'm sorry, I need your help. Lyric isn't eating and just need you to help me convince her to." Jinxx looked from dad to me.

"Lyric, darling, why don't you want to eat?" He sat down next to me. "You need to eat. I don't want you to get sick."

"I don't know I'm just not hungry." I said rubbing my temples.

"Well will you just try to eat a little bit for me?" I looked at him for a moment then nodded. "Thank you." He got up and messed up my hair with his hand, walking back upstairs.

"Thank you Jinxx!" Dad called. "You want like a waffle or something?"

"Sure. Do you need any help making them?"

"No thanks Lyr, I got it."

"Okay." I sat and watched while dad made breakfast and finally Jinxx and Andy came downstairs. I ate a couple of bites of the waffle dad made me but pushed the plate towards him.

"Thank you for eating a little Lyr." Jinxx said sitting down next to me. "We can work on getting you to eat a little more but for now I'm just glad you're eating."

"You're welcome. I promise I'll try to eat more." He nodded happily at me. "What are you guys doing today?"

"Well actually we have to discuss something with you..." Dad drifted off. Uh oh. This can't be good.
