1.8: Onward To Warped Tour!

So it was the day we were leaving for Warped Tour and I was pretty excited. Dad got me a whiles worth of prescriptions, and he's been working with me to help me talk again. I felt a little closer to being able to talk but then again it felt a life time away.

I was finishing packing up the last of my things when Jinxx came into my room.

"Hey darling. How are you?" I gave him a thumbs up with a smile. He smiled back at me. "That's good. Are you excited?" I nodded and looked back at my luggage. I only have one bag plus a sorta large backpack, so my stuff for just finely.

"Are you almost ready?" He asked just as I put the last thing I needed into my bag and closed it. I nodded and got the backpack that was sitting by the door.

"Good the bus is already here so we can just put your stuff on right now." He helped me carry my luggage down and we loaded into the bus. It was a little different from the last bus but overall it was pretty much the same.

"You'll probably have to share a bunk with someone since we have like our crew and people like that on here, too." Jake said, climbing into the bus. I nodded and sat down onto the couch that was in the lounging area.

"CC IS HERE!!" Dad shouted while running onto the bus. I shook my head, laughing slightly. "Are you ready to have some fun?!" He said jumping in front of me like a little kid on a sugar high. I got my notepad, that I recently bought, and pen from my backpack.

'Exactly how much sugar did you have this morning?'

"Oh hahaha! I'm just excited because I get to show you new people and you'll probably love them because you listen to there music and stuff and yeah."

Andy walked in and sat down next to me.

'Did you or anyone give dad some sugar because he is acting way more hyper than he should be.'

"Nope it's just a natural thing with him. Adult with a five year old's brain." Dad pouted at us, causing us to laugh.

"Very funny. I can already tell that you two are going to be partners in crime and I'm not going to like it very much. Anyways did someone tell you about the bunk situation?" I nodded and pointed to Jake, who was sprawled out on the floor for some odd reason.

"Okay, who'd you like to sleep with- Wait that sounded sexual." He corrected himself. I wanted to facepalm, but I decided against it. "Correction who do you want to share a bunk with?" I shrugged and thought for a moment.

"She can stay with me since she's my Batman Buddy." Andy said, putting his arm around my shoulders. I looked at dad and nodded, confirming that I would be staying with Andy.

"Alright then, we've got that settled then. All we're waiting on now is Ashley. God I swear he takes longer than a fucking girl." Dad walked out of the bus and back inside the house to get Ashley.

"So are you excited to be on Warped Tour with us and all that?" Andy said.

'Very excited!'

"Good. We're pretty excited that you're here with us. And the first night if Warped Tour all of the bands hang out and catch up with each other so you'll be able to talk to some of the bands that you like."

I smiled and Ashley and dad walked onto the bus.

"Took you long enough Purdy!" Jake yelled at him. "Lyric didn't even take as long as you!" He added.

"Hate me 'cause you ain't me." He strutted- LITERALLY STRUTTED- to the bunks and I shook my head at him. I swear he is such a diva!

'So where's the first concert?' I asked them.
