⚠️ED: Eating Disorder⚠️

𝑺𝒂𝒎𝒚'𝒔 𝑷𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝑶𝒇 𝑽𝒊𝒆𝒘

Sarai fainted. She hit her head on the floor. "Sarai!". I picked her up and I take her to the nurse's office. "Help! She's unconscious". The nurse told me to place her down on the school bed. I listen to her. She sits down next to Sarai and flashes a light at her. "She looks very weak. Has she eaten or drank anything at all today?". I tried my best to remember. "She had a small bit of water in class this morning she hasn't eaten anything though. We were just in lunch she didn't care to eat". The nurse gasps. She knew exactly what was wrong. "Can you hand me one of the granola bars and fruits by my desk, please?" She points to her office across from the room we were in.

I go to the cabinets where she was pointing. I grab a granola bar, an apple, and orange juice from there. I close the cabinets and I walk back to the room. "Thank you. This will give her a little energy when she wakes up. Can you tell me what's the student's name? I have to call her parents". If they come here they can't see that I bought her here. "Sarai Montoya. She's in grade 12". "Okay thank you". She walks out of the room and leaves Sarai and me behind. I was going to tell Mariano what happened. I leave the room and I go out to the hallway to call Mar. It rings. 

After two more rings, he finally answers. "Samy!". "Sarai fainted. I just took her into the nurse's office, apparently, she hasn't eaten all day".He drops his phone. "Seriously?". "Yeah, she had an argument with Kayla this morning and I guess Kayla knew that she hasn't been eating lately, but I don't get it at lunch she ordered two whole tacos with a bunch of things on it, she also said she was hungry, but she never ate it". "I'll have this conversation with her later. Just keep an eye out for her alright". "Yeah I got you". I press on the red button on the screen to end the call. I go back to the nurse's office and I see Sarai was still asleep. The nurse was in the room as well. "Her sister is on her way to take her home so I'll write you a pass to go back to class". "It's alright. I have a free period". I lied. I thought of going with her and her sister. "Oh ok".

I stayed in the room for a bit longer. Sarai was waking up. "What happened? Why are we in the nurse's office?". "You're awake! You kind of fainted so I bought you here". She turns her head around. "Are those for me?" She asks. "Yeah. Sarai you need to eat". She grabs the apple from the desk and she takes a bite. "Sorry I'm late. I just started my lunch period is Sarai ok?". Heaven runs into the room. "Yeah she's good. She just woke up". "Heaven! It's so good to see you. You're here for Sarai right?". The nurse said. "Yeah. Sarai I'm supposed to take you home. Dad's orders". Sarai sits up and I grab her things. Heaven and I help Sarai get into the car. When she was in I hugged her then I closed the door on my way out. "Thank you Samy for taking care of her. I'll take it from here". Her sister gets in her car as well and drives away. I go to Kayla's car and I wait for her to get out of class. The class was about to end in 15 minutes so it's not going to take long.

When the seniors were coming out I see Kayla walk out with Dante. "Samy is Sarai ok?? Heaven told me everything". I could feel her pain. She felt bad for Sarai. "She's fine. She left a couple of minutes ago with Heaven". "Samy I feel bad for getting mad at her. She just never ate anything since the day we visited Mar, but she just never listened". What! She never said anything about that. "Why don't you meet up with her later? She might not want to see anyone but I think it's a good idea for you to see your best friend". She felt a bit better. The three of us get in her car. "Baby I think I'm going with Samy. You should see her alone". Dante gets out of the car with me and we walk into my house.

I heard three knocks at my door. I turned around and see my best friend standing by my door. "Sarai... I'm sorry. I shouldn't have overreacted at lunch today. It's your body and you should do what you think is ok". She looked like she had been crying for days. "Hey don't cry mama. I know you care about me but don't worry I'm okay". I pull my arms out for her to come to hug me. She runs to me and hugs me tight. I hate that I caused pain to my best friend, she was just looking out for me. "But I think you should apologize to him". "Who?". I looked at her all confused. "You know who I'm talking about Sara. He's probably upset as well". Samy must have told him. I'm not mad or anything he was just worried as well. "I'll visit him at the park tonight. I think it'll be a good idea". "Want me to go with you? Just in case Matthias shows up?". "Can you cover for me? Just lock my door and talk in my voice. You're good at it" I joked. "Oh I know I am sweetie" She laughs. We went on social media for a bit and as soon as sunset hit I decided it would be time to go to the park. "Good luck Sara I love you". "I love you too Kay". I quietly close my door and I sneak out of the house.
