Minutes later I hear someone knocking on my door, I began to panic until I heard his soft voice through the door. I silently open the door on the other side, it was revealing the one and only guy I love. I gave him a huge hug as the door opened. He walks in and shuts it right away. "Ok, we need to do this quick. grab this" He hands me one of the guns he had with him with a couple of bullets inside. "I... I don't know if I can do this Mar". A whole bunch of thoughts was running through my mind last minute.

I can't shoot him. I can't shoot my "dad" either, they have been with me for the past couple of years, but the three of them keeping a secret from me made it even worst. I felt my pocket buzzing. I grabbed my phone out of my pocket revealing a random number calling me. I looked at Mar he had the "well are you going to answer it" kind of look on his face.

"Hello?" I said quietly onto the phone. I heard sobbing in the background. "Sarai? Please tell me this is you" The person over the phone seemed worried. It sounds just like one of Kayla's dad's. "It's me. What's going on?" My body began to shiver, I felt myself being covered with a blanket on top. I looked over at Mar, he smiles at me. "Sarai, Matthias took Kayla, he also left a note". Am I hearing this right?

"What did the note say?" I asked politely. "He needs you to go see him or else she's dead". I dropped my phone onto the ground, Mariano runs over to me and grabs my phone. He takes it out to the hallway with him. I go to the showers to change into the new outfit I was going to wear to the party tonight, Mariano was still out in the hallways. I was going to wear the dress he left me, It was beautiful. I had Monica style my hair, she also helped me with my makeup as well. "I heard what happened with your friend Sarai. Are you really going to go alone? What if people notice you?". That's what worried me most, but I had to save my best friend.

"Are the cars here?" I asked the lady at the front desk. "One is currently ready for you and the young Castano" She responds. Perfect. I grabbed Mariano's hand as the two of us make our way out to the vehicle waiting for us. "You sure about this shorty?" Mariano asks me. I grab his hand and nod in agreeance. I could tell Mariano was staring at me the whole ride. "Something you like" I smiled, his cheeks turn bright red. "Everything". I looked down at his dick, he was hard. "Not now love" I whispered into his ear. I watched him roll his eyes in annoyance. "Come on Sarai, give me ten minutes that's all I ask" He was that desperate. "Later" I chuckled. He throws his back in anger. I silently laughed at him trying to get my attention.

We get to the party around 11 PM.The chauffeur opens the door for me, everything felt like it was moving in slow motion. I was the first to exit the car. I stopped Mariano before he got out. "I think I should do this alone" I looked him in the eyes, his light shimmering brown eyes. "No. I can't let you do this alone. I said I was going to protect you and that's what I'm going to do" He tried to escape my grip, but I didn't let him. "I know how to handle this. I have to do this whether you like it or not" I grabbed the gun he had in his pocket. I kissed him goodbye before entering the building.

I looked around the main building. People were dancing everywhere or getting a drink at the bar. I see my parents walk down the stairs from the second floor. I looked at my mom, she had bruises all over her face and some on her arm. He hurts her. I see Matthias walking down the stairs with a huge smile on his face. "Sarai! What a surprise seeing you. How's the school in the PR. Your parents must be glad to be back" Someone says behind me. I turned over to them. "Great! I've been loving it. Well I'll see you later I have to go get myself a drink" I lied. I tried to find another way to get to the second floor, luckily, there was an elevator by the bathrooms.
