I had a bandaid around my shoulder. It stung almost all night I couldn't sleep at all.

So it's currently 4:39 in the morning. Heaven and I were about to leave the house. "We're all set". Our faces were bright red we were ready to leave this toxic household. BOOM. I heard a loud thump right next to me. "HEAVEN". A bullet hit the back of her head. "You monster". I turned around I recognized my father's figure standing behind me with a gun in his hand. I close the trunk. I ran into the back seat of the car. "Drive!" I yelled at the taxi driver. He speeds up. Along the way I threw my phone out the window so they wouldn't try to find me.

After I did everything I was supposed to do I was finally boarding the plane. As I was entering the plane I could feel eyes all on me. I forgot that I had blood on the bottom of my shoes. "Nice shoe design" I heard someone say. If only it was a shoe design and not my sister's blood. I sit down at the row I was supposed to be sitting at. I looked out the window watching the plane leave Puerto Rico. I'll never look at it the same.

𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰

"Why would you do that!" Matthias yelled in Anger.  Mr. Montoya had no clue what was running through his head. He just killed his own daughter and let the other one run free.

"The time is now 10:05 AM and the weather is 40 degrees here in Ontario, Canada". We were landing in Ontario. Once it was time to leave I grabbed my things then I head to the exit and I wait for Mar. I felt completely empty without Heaven. She could've been running away with me. I sobbed. The pain just bursts out.

"Hey. Hey calm down I'm here". He hugs me not wanting to let go. "Heaven's gone... my dad shot her". "Oh my god. I'm so sorry Sarai" he rubs my back up and down. "Don't do that" I back up holding lightly onto my shoulder. He lets go of my hand and reveals the bandaid on my shoulder. "He did this?". I nod my head yes. He sighs. "The group is waiting for us at my house. Is it okay if we can go". I nod my head yes again.  We walked down to his car. He drives away from the airport. As we were pulling into the driveway I see Samy, Kayla, and Dante waiting for us by the door.

"I'm so glad you're back" Kayla hugs me first then the boys. "We bought your stuff here, well the ones you'll need the most" Samy said silently. I looked over at Kayla, she had tears running down her face. "I'm gonna miss you, Sara". "Wait? You guys aren't coming with us?". The three shake their head no. "But Samy, you and Mar...". He stops me from talking. "I know we moved here together but I think I'm going to stay here for a while. Don't worry we'll see each other again in a couple of weeks ". We hug. I can't believe it. I'm leaving again...

"You ready?" Mariano asks me as we were putting our stuff in his car. "Yeah, just give me a sec". I grab Kayla's hand, we walk away from the boys far away from where they couldn't see us. I take a deep breath in and out. "I want you to have this" I give her my favorite ring. "Sarai this is your favorite ring. I don't think I should have it". I let out a small smile. "Just accept the gift" I chuckle. "Oh, I'm going to miss you. Just take care of yourself and him, I guess" She chuckles as well.. I sobbed. I'm going to miss my best friend.

The boys tried to pull us apart. It took them a while to let us go. Once I get in the car I roll my window down I wave goodbye to the three. "It's so hard to say goodbye to your best friend you know. I'm surprised you and Samy didn't cry". He stayed silent. I guess I was wrong. The silence stopped as soon as we went out for gas. We went for hours without talking. "Go get yourself something to eat. I'll be there in a minute" He hands me his card. I walked inside the gas station to find myself something to eat. I bought myself some food for the road. We still had about 3-4 hours to go out of a 7-hour drive. "Thank you, Have a good one" I grabbed my things and I walked out of the gas station. I see Mariano on the phone. "Here's your card" I hand him his card then I get in his car. I close the door. I looked around the car while he was inside the shop in the station. I can't believe I'm on a getaway.

When Mariano was back in the car he starts to drive away again. I decided to take a nap instead of having the silent treatment again. Don't get me wrong I understand that he lost his dad. he left his best friend so it's better if I don't talk to him for a while.
