My family and I were still on the jet. It's been three hours. Three. "We're about to land soon! Are you guys ready!" My brother smiles at my sister and I. Asshole. "I guess" I whispered. "You guys are going to love the house we're staying in". I looked out the window there was clear water surrounding an island. I felt the jet shaking a little. I guess that meant we were landing.

The plane finally lands. We all get out of the jet. The air was so fresh and nice. "Welcome to Puerto Rico Nenas". I looked at my dad I could tell he had a huge smile on his face. I forgot that my dad was Puerto Rican. My sister grabs my hand and we get in some SUV. My mom goes in the car with us while my father and brother were going in a different car.

Kayla, Dante, Samy, and I just started our lunch break. "Where's Sarai?" Kayla asks as I was making my way towards one of the food trucks. "She got an early dismissal hours ago, has she not texted you either?". "No, she didn't even tell me that she got an early dismissal". Weird, she hasn't talked to the two of us since she left. "I- I think I'm going to skip lunch, wanna go with me to her house?". "Let's go". We made our way out of the school. Samy and Dante followed us to Kayla's car. "Where are we going? I was just about to eat my food" Samy said.

The whole car ride was silent. When we get to her house we see that no cars were in the driveway. "I have the key to her house". I didn't care about the cameras honestly. All I cared about was just her. Kayla opens the door to her house. Her door was open but she wasn't in there. Where the hell is she...

"Nenas! Matthias! Welcome back!" My Grandparents were waiting for us in front of the house. "Nana? Tata?" Well, this is a surprise. I get out of the SUV  to hug my grandparents. "You three have gotten so big!". My sister and I walk into the house. "Go to your rooms! It's still here" My grandma pushes us up the stairs. I go to my old room which has never changed. I go sit down at my bay window. I miss him. I want to see him. I need him.

"Nena, what are you doing here by yourself? Go to the pool, go to the beach, go do something" My Grandpa yells. "Has it always been so bright out there, I forgot how it looked like". I looked out the window. I could see kids playing down the street and people walking around the neighborhood. "Oh, Nena it's always been like that. Why don't you and Nana go out today I'm sure she wouldn't mind some company to the store". "Good idea tata. I'll see you later" I kissed him on the cheek then I go find my grandma.

"Nana!" I spot her fixing her plants outside the backyard. "Sarai, Mi Amor, what happened". "Are you going to the market later? I would love to accompany you". She lets out a little small laugh. "Let's go right now. Go get your siblings and we can go altogether". I run back into the house. I go up to the room Heaven was staying in and I open her door since it was closed. "I'm going out with Nana, wanna go?" I asked. "Yeah, sure just give me a minute to change and we're good". I go back to the garden while I wait for Heaven. "Heaven's just going to change she'll be here soon". Heaven and I help our grandma up. Later, the three of us get out of the house.

 "We'll just walk to the market it's nearby". My Grandma locks the door then we walk to the market. When we get there I see a whole bunch of people walking around, kids playing, People dancing, and music playing. It's so pretty.

𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒏𝒐'𝒔 𝑷𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑽𝒊𝒆𝒘.

"We've checked around the whole house. Where else could she be?" Kayla was panicking. We've checked everywhere around the house except for this one room that was locked. I kept on thinking about where she could be and one came into mind. "I'll be back. You guys meet me at my house in an hour go get yourselves something to eat". I run out of the house and I go straight to the location I was thinking of.

The park.

I get there after walking for about 5 minutes. I looked around the park for her, but there was only a family and two other kids at the park. I walk over to them to ask them if they'd seen her. "No sorry". Another idea had come to mind but I don't think she would go there though. I walked to the little plaza where I first caught her walking alone. I looked inside the stores then the supermarket. Nowhere to be found.
